"This was a great place to stop and spend the night before we continued on to our final destination in Canada. The hotel was very clean and the reception area was very inviting. We liked the walking path into town as well. My only complaint is that we asked for a recommendation for dinner and she directed us to a place that was about 10 minutes away. The riverside view was nice, however it was very loud inside and the food was expensive and subpar. What she failed to let us know was that...

"Easy to find, a cute cabin deep in the woods. Big windows almost makes you feel like your camping. All wood inside with big timbers gives the feeling of you’re living back in the 1800’s. The weather was cold so the fire place came in handy.There was no oven which was a little surprising but there was adequate electric appliances to cook what we had.The owners were really easy to work and answered all of our questions.Would highly recommend it!!"

We've been coming up to Lake of the Woods for 20 years, stayed at well known resorts, and all I have to say is, we will most definitely be coming back to this home before a resort. The host, David, was absolutely amazing, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay, to include snow removal. Top notch customer service!!!! The home is absolutely beautiful. The hosts have thought of everything someone might need during their stay...
