"The setting was very good but the property is in serious need of updating. The room was average for Motel 6. The buffet was poor quality but the tomato bisque soup was excellent and the salad bar was average. In general I will not be returning to The Ranch at Death Valley, but I may try the other facility, The Inn at Death Valley."

"Room 106 needs some updates such as new flooring, not carpet. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. Location is good and the 2 restaurants near Inn give 10% off if staying here. Nice, free basic breakfast, coffee is delicious."

"Great room, updated and very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beautiful grounds."

"Since June of this year my brother and I have stayed for four nights and both trips the tvs in our rooms of 101 and 104 didn’t work properly and the excuse in both stays was they were changing cable carriers. You would think from June to October this would have been corrected!!"

"Great property! Construction was underway so the ponds were down, but the games and welcoming environment was fun! We have a young family and this was a great pit stop on the way to Tahoe."

"The property was clean. The staff was ok but could be better. I disliked the fact that they immediately at check in let you know your room will not be cleaned until check out. One of the enjoyments of staying at a relatively expensive hotel is to come back to a cleaned room. I was very disappointed at their breakfast options."

"Good motel to stop by. Older building..."

"Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff that we encountered were all very nice. Our room was toward the back so it was mostly quiet. Breakfast was okay. We only ate it 1 time out of the 3 days we were there but theres waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, instant oatmeal, toast, juice/coffee,etc. Our only complaint is the bed. It was not comfortable at all. The mattress was to soft (for our liking) and it felt like sleeping on a air mattress. So we did not sleep well for the 3 nights we were...

"Hébergement en tente dans un endroit isolé. Idéal pour visiter death valley. Bon restaurant a proximité. Tentes contiennent le minimum nécessaire."

"Welcome to the classic road side motel"

"All ok"

"I booked the hotel for 3 nights via Expedia, and I paid the specified amount upfront. At the time of checkout I received a summary of charges that showed the total charge to be $178 less than what I had already paid. I contacted Expedia, who then called the hotel asking for a reimbursement. The hotel rejected the request, saying that the original charge was correct and there was a “misunderstanding” with the summary charges. Either the hotel does not know how to process summary charges...

"Highly recommend"

"It's a good place to sleep, no continental breakfast but I was ok with that ...."
