"Unique place to stay. Small but perfect for what we needed. Everything worked fine. Wish it had an actual heating system rather than a portable heater. Got pretty cold and I was afraid to leave the heater on while we were out. This meant longer heating times. Convenient location to Winter Harbor and Ellsworth. Recommend pod-type coffee maker. It would be easier and less messy than bags of coffee."

"I didn't like that Stewman's was closed"

"This location apparently can also be an extended stay I'm assuming. This isn't made clear in the listing. The only reason this is important is because they don't provide maid service, which in and of itself isn't a big deal. Where it became a problem is we had a unit with a full kitchen, thus we produced some trash that needed to be taken out. First, there was only a small trashcan I the bathroom as you would expect, however there is no other trashcan anywhere in the unit. Being it has a full...

"Overall lovely place to stay! Only drawbacks were that there was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash in the shower on arrival & the zipper was broken at the bottom of the tent. It was freezing as we were there for the last weekend, and despite having space heaters, these tents just aren’t made to stay warm and the room temp stayed around 40. Thank god for the heated bed, but something to keep in mind when visiting outside the warmer months."

"Fantastic view from my suite. Hotel was quiet. The indoor pool and hot tub were exactly what I needed after a long day of hiking. Staff was very helpful."

"We have stayed here many times. Never disappointed."

"The living room with the fireplace was fantastic. We enjoyed our conversations with Ben the owner as he is very passionate about the property and surrounding area. He was very helpful about places to visit in the area. Breakfast was wonderful. Just a very relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely go back for a stay."

"Room is adequately spaced and I loved how cozy the inn is. Great stay!"

"room was clean and updated. room was facing the road and was extremely noisy with trucks and motorcycles, etc.. at about 5:55am woke up to a trailer dropping off bulk supplies and up and down their metal ramp. rooms are not soundproof whatsoever, walls sounded like they were made of paper and we could hear absolutely everything on both sides of us. hotel was walkable and parking was super convenient, but noise was definitely an issue."

"Great place to stay. Amazing views."

"From a picture, we thought we would be closer to the water. There was a little view of it. This would be a great place for families with children in the warmer months, pool, and lots of room to run around or ride bikes. This is an older hotel that has been updated. We wanted to Uber into Bar Harbor but no Ubers were in the area. Luckily we were able to find parking both evenings."

"Beautiful property with free parking. Staff was very helpful. Liked that they had a grab and go breakfast for guests. Rooms were very comfortable and large. Mattress was very comfortable. Didn’t like original pillows and they were accommodating to change out pillows and make sure we liked the ones they brought to us."

"We requested for house keeping while our room one morning and when we came back, the house keeping was never done. This was missed by the hotel staff. Apart from that it was a nice stay, very convenient location."

"We loved our stay. The staff was fabulous and the rooms were spotless."

"The breakfast was life changing. 🙏"
