"This is a small, independently owned hotel. The room was small but pretty clean. It was cleaner than other bigger hotels I've stayed in. We stayed in a pet friendly room and noticed no odors whatsoever. Our feet did get dirty so I don't recommend going barefoot. The bathroom was very small. The sink and toilet were so close together that a larger person might have trouble sitting on the toilet. Check in, ice and breakfast were at the on-site restaurant. Coordinating for all my sisters coming from 3 different states on such a short notice for a loved one's funeral was difficult, but James was so accommodating and understanding no matter how many times I reached out to him to alter my reservation. Luxurious touches like 2 fireplaces, a rain head shower/steamer, and an extremely comfortable king-size bed left us feeling pampered in this cozy cabin. "Jakes place was very clean, well-supplied (especially the kitchen), lots of clean linens and towels, and love the location. Legion Hall, KC Hall, V&H restaurant, Wallys, Hannahs Playground are all walkable distances with a 6 year old. The 10 yr old loved the pool table and darts game and so did the adults. Jake is responsive to any request very quickly. Liked using the garage for parking our car, especially in the rain storm. The tornado siren went off and we sheltered in the basement's...

"Beautiful loft in a convenient location. The apartment was clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen and bathroom were wonderfully furnished. The living room has a wonderful view of the fountain on the square. The host left a beautiful fresh flower arrangement for us. Parking is very convenient. Bonus: quite a few coffee-making options!"
