"Mark was a great host and quite knowledgeable about the area and property. We highly recommend visitors pick up a local area map as GPS and phone connectivity are spotty at best."

"The cabin was very clean, organized, and peaceful. The tub was cracked and the down spout had been knocked on the rear of the red cabin. There was random pieces of garbage around the cabin and in the woods. The pond is not close to the cabins (1/2 mile) down hill and the road and trails to it were not maintained. "Our stay at the Persimmon Cabin on Faith Mountain was amazing! From the attentive hospitality by Mark and Patti to the exceptional hiking experience throughout the property. The cabin also offers convenient day trips to nearby communities and state parks. Faith Mountain will be kept on our radar for every return trip to wild and wonderful West Virginia!!"

"We stayed the weekend for a volleyball camp. The cabin was very clean, nice, had everything you could need!! The host communicated everything very well! It’s a rural setting, which we enjoyed. There is no cell service at all but the cabin has great internet and we could receive calls, texts and everything! We have a little poodle that’s part of the family and we can’t ever leave her. We were very appreciative she could come! I enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the deer! So quiet and...
