"What a find. A very special and unique place on the east coast of Aus that was definitely a highlight on our 7 night road trip into QLD from Newcastle. The breakfast delivered to our accomodation and quality of the food at the onsite restaurant ticked all the boxes. We will be back."

"This is not a resort. This is makeshift cabins. Poo droppings from rodents all around the unit. Management werent professional and staff we rude and obnoxious. What a disappointment. "

"Sue the host was wonderful and very helpful. The Room was very comfortable and spacious. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended stay."

"Great spot to stay with walkable dining. Close to park and waterfront. Warm, welcoming staff. Super clean. Safe parking. Although be sure to specify if stairs are problematic when booking."

"Great family accommodation. Plenty of room for everyone and everything you need is there with a well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to shop and beaches yet quiet and relaxing. Host easy to contact and accommodating."

"Exactly What you need for an adventure on Straddie! A comfortable place to end a long day of adventure, a board game and DVD filled bolt hole when the rain comes. Truly dog friendly (so many properties only allow the dog outside), and the exact break we needed. Close to home beach and within mins of the middle of point lookout. Wonderful weekend with my partner, 8yr old daughter and our pup. We adored our first trip to Straddie, followed the recommendations from Carolyn and Mal and will be back...

"Host extremely helpful and accomodation was fully equipped and excellent. Everything needed for a great stay at good value"

"Nice place to stay on the island."

"Clean room with tidy bathroom. Good location. A/C."

"Bit disappointing that there was no wifi"

"The room was easily accessible and close to all that Point Lookout offers, however, it is underneath another unit and the sound from the upstairs floor comes through clearly to this unit (children's footsteps and pacing adult in the middle of the night!)."
