The Scallop | Beachfront Condo

Summary:
This coastline condo boasts amazing views, stylish decor, and gorgeous ceramic tiling throughout. The open-concept living space & dining area include stainless steel appliances, a flat-screen TV, and plenty of seating for your comfort. Enjoy Florida's emerald coast day & night right from the balcony! Book our 716 sqft condo to relax and unwind in Destin in the best way possible.

The Space:
Please Note: The outdoor pool will be closed from September 3rd, 2024 through March 2025. The indoor pool and beach area will still be available for guest use. There will also be some other construction inside and around the hotel that will not affect the use of any amenities or your room.

This comfortable unit has a dining area that seats four. A full kitchen has all major appliances, including a microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and blender plus all dishes, serving bowls, pots, pans, and flatware in case you wish to prepare a full meal while you are our guest. There is one King bed and one pullout couch. Also, there are 1.5 baths for your convenience. The sliding glass doors in the great room open onto a spacious balcony with a westerly view along the coastline.

Guest Access:
Guests will receive keys to their rooms at the front desk.

The Neighborhood:
Offering a private beach along Florida’s Emerald Coast, SunDestin offers spacious apartments with free WiFi and a balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. It has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool with a hot tub. A kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, and stove is in SunDestin’s air-conditioned apartments. Each comes with a bright décor and a living room including a sofa bed and cable TV with a DVD player. All come with a bathroom and a guest toilet. SunDestin Beach has a spa on site. Guests can also work out in the fitness center or play in the games room. A coin-operated laundry facility is available on each floor. Silver Sands Factory Stores is 4 miles from the resort, and Destin - Fort Walton Beach Airport is 30 minutes' drive away. Free parking is available at SunDestin Beach.

Getting Around:
Parking for one vehicle is included in your stay and free of charge. You will receive one parking pass to park directly on-site at the time of check-in.
For additional parking: you must register it at the front desk.

Other Things to Note:
- Construction is currently taking place at the SunDestin. Please be aware that there will be noise as they work on renovations.
- This condo is not pet-friendly.
- On-site parking for 1 vehicle is included in your stay.
- Central AC/heat
- This is a waterfront condo.
- There is no washer/dryer in the condo. However, there is a shared coin laundry facility on every floor available for use.
- Fitness Center Hours 6am-10pm

Enjoyed my stay.. great unit

Didn’t fully understand the amount of construction that was taking place at this facility. In fairness it was shared upfront but it wasn’t clear what the magnitude of the construction project included. I love the unit that I stayed in. This condo is not exactly beachfront although you have a really good beach view. This unit is built at an angle to the beach

We were so excited for this unit. The pictures were amazing. We spent the entire week without a working fridge, the furniture is very uncomfortable, the bathrooms need updated, and there was sand everywhere upon arrival. The unit did not come stocked and we had to go buy even hand soap. Extremely disapppointed in this unit. Will gladly go elsewhere if we come back to Destin.

Disappointed in unit.

Very disappointed in how the unit was lacking normal supplies in kitchen and bath.Very scarce (none in kitchen) for a weeks stay. The cost was not justified for a condo for a week. We have stayed at SunDestin property for over 30_years..THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT AN ABBOT RENTAL. The vanities were not clean as should be. Furniture not very comfortable. Not sure if this management company is good for this property. The front desk people were nice, but could not help with our concerns. Love Destin and SunDestin used to be our go to place to stay. But having to reconsider that now.

The property was clean and looked exactly as pictured. Elevators were operational and always fast and available. Amazing views from Balcony! King sized bed was very comfy and the room darkening curtains were appreciated

Me and my girlfriend loved where we stayed. The place was cleaned and right by the beach. The host was great with communicating and check in/out was simple. I enjoyed my birthday trip and would stay here again!

Perfect for Families!

Clean, modern condo with easy access to the beach. Great indoor pool in case of bad weather, along with adult drinks and snacks from the Pelican bar. Parking was plentiful and lots of restaurants nearby.

Relaxing Vacation

We enjoyed the beach and the property. The only disappointment in the property was the availability of elevators. One was down the entire 5 days and another was intermittent and down a few times. We climbed 12 flights of stairs numerous times. Other than that all was great.

Awesome stay!

This was my birthday getaway & my man & I truly enjoyed the resort. The view was beautiful & the room had everything we needed on the inside. It was clean outside of the shower liner that needs to be replaced. Plenty of towels & the bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

The unit was just as described.

This was our first time at this unit and we were very pleased in seeing it was just as described. communication was great. check in was easy. 12th floor with views of the beach from bedroom and Livingroom areas. The condo complex offered several amenities, like; gym, gift shop, café/bar, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, swimming pools, easy access to the beach, and great location... we were very happy with our choice

Sun Destin 1215

It was beautiful, clean, and no surprises in the appearance from online pictures. The only thing we wish it would have had is more linens. Only 3 washcloths and 5 towels for 4 adults. We didn’t come to do laundry every day, and not enough wash cloths to start off.
