    SunDestin is a vacation rental complex conveniently located in the heart of Destin, less than half a mile from Big Kahuna's waterpark. It is unmatched in terms of facilities and guest services: check out the two pools (an outdoor, heated, open-air pool) and the exercise room, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, massage therapy, on-site restaurant, tiki bar, and gift shop, with a front desk staffed 24/7. There are also coin-operated laundry facilities on each floor.

This is a nice place, the furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has a nice countertop and appliances. This host does a great job.

We had a wonderful stay at SunDestin 909 and can already see it becoming a true 5-star gem once renovations are complete!The location is unbeatable—A. Right on the beach with stunning, unobstructed Gulf views from the 9th floor, it doesn’t get much better. Morning coffee on the private balcony was a highlight, and the beach itself is pristine and just steps away.The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a layout that worked perfectly for us. The front desk was always staffed by friendly, helpful personnel, making our late-night check-in seamless. Parking was easy, and the elevators were impressively fast—we never had to wait. The pool area bathrooms were also spotless.One minor inconvenience was the coin-operated laundry (2.50 each), as finding quarters isn’t easy—but we were happy to find a change machine near the front desk.To be transparent, the property is undergoing updates. The pool area is a bit dated but shows great potential. Construction started early one morning, but communication from management was excellent and made it easy to plan around. Pricing during this phase is very fair! Construction had little impact on our stay.It’s clear they’re committed to bringing this property back to life. With the updates underway, great value, and unbeatable location, we would absolutely return.This will easily be a 5-star destination soon!

The beach view was great- we enjoyed waking up and seeing the ocean. However, when we arrived, we quickly noticed that the condo was disgusting. The floor was absolutely filthy. It most certainly had not been swept and definitely was not mopped. I took my sandals immediately upon arrival and within 5 minutes my feet were black and had dirt and dust all over them. There was hair left on our sheets so it made us think the sheets had not been washed. Dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher. The couch smells like cat urine so we couldn’t even lay on it. The TV was extremely slow and we could barely watch anything because of the lagging. I tried to work on my computer and could not even get my work to load because of the lagging internet. The construction was annoying, but we knew that when we booked the condo. We had a lot of fun in Destin, but will definitely book elsewhere next time specifically due to the nastiness of the room. I grew up coming to SunDestin with my parents so I thought it would be great but it was awful. I just can’t get past the nastiness of the room. We had our infant child with us and I could not let her get down on the floor because it was absolutely disgusting.
