I love sandpiper cove. I missed out on an opportunity to purchase a unit in 2012 and think about it all the time. Now, the unit is valued at and recently sold for 3 times what it cost then. I’ll keep a watch out for future sales cause this place has the perfect location and is kept super clean and safe.

This Sandpiper Cove condo is very clean and just perfect for our family of four. It has everything we need to cook our dinner. It has a bike that works great that our son used to travel around the community and to the beach, which is just a cross the street within the condo community. The condo is situated at the first hole of the small golf course. The swimming pool was also nearby. The condo is located across the street from Target/Publix. Everything is within walking distance. This was just a perfect stay for us. The pictures on VRBO/Expedia are accurate. Destin is a great beach town. We'll be back!

Great Family Getaway

We love Sandpiper! Great location, we have been coming for years. Our condo was perfect for what we were looking for! We needed pet friendly for our 7 lb furbaby. Very nicely laid out for little ones too. We will be back! There was some damage from larger dogs on the curtains etc. We heard they plan to renovate! Thats great news, the location is perfect!

Great condo but do your research on pets on beach

Pam’s condo was clean and had a lovely view of golf course. The online pics are accurate. Location was great. The resort staff were all fabulous! The condo was perfect for my mom, me and pup. However I was very disappointed that I didn’t discover until we got there that dogs are NOT allowed on beach. The complex was pet friendly but since we didn’t want to leave pup in strange place alone it was not the beach vacation I had hoped for. Do your research.

Quaint, 90's beach condo in a nice community

This condo took me back to the 90s with its vintage beachy decor. it was a cute layout with plenty of room for the 4 of us and our 2 dogs. There was a musty smell in the unit, but we attributed it to the fact that everything was reopening after COVID-19 and that the unit may have been vacant for some period of time. There was also the unmistakable stench of animal urine throughout the living room and master bedroom. We contacted management about it and they scheduled carpet cleaning to be done. However, they postponed the cleaning an additional day and in the end never came to clean it. Being dog owners ourselves, we were appalled that someone would bring their pets and allow them to treat a rental property in this fashion. Walking all around the property, it was clear there were many of these inconsiderate guests/owners as there were many doggy landmines throughout. The only other issue with the community property was the boat ramp: the amount of trash there (located right next to a restaurant) was disturbing. We had 2 additional issues with the condo itself. The first was the appearance of some incredibly large and nasty cockroaches in the kitchen, one of which was found in the cabinet containing drinkware. We didn't need to call management because an exterminator showed up the very next morning saying he was called out because of a pest issue. I can only assume that the guests in the upstairs unit must have called. Second, we had an issue with the water nozzle in the guest bathtub; It came off in our hand as we turned on the water and we were unable to shut it off. Given that the piece was probably 30 years old or older, it wasn't too surprising. Since it happened at dinnertime, security came out and shut the water off to that tub and a plumber came out the next day to replace the nozzle. The mess that the plumber left behind was not pleasant to return to and we had to clean the floor in the hall as well as scrub the muck out of the tub. On positive notes, it was nice that the unit also had a bicycle, beach chairs and beach toys/nets to use during our visit. The private beach was easily accessible via a short walk or a quick drive across the main street. The beach was clean and there was a tiki bar at the entrance that served food and drinks. One of the community pools was conveniently located directly behind the unit. Hopefully management will clean the carpets and keep up on pest control for future renters.

Cleans poor communication

Rooms there was some caterpillar on the house and also there is pet on top of are apartment which was barking all the time hard to sleep and also house keeping never pass the vacuum there was a lot crumbs on the rug no happy
