The Islander 602 Complimentary Beach (Seasonally) Platinum Rated Heated pool

Newly renovated, this beachfront condo offers unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico from the entry to the private balcony and is just steps away from the beach. Listen to the waves crash against the shore and watch the dolphins play in the water every day to fully enjoy your experience in unit 602. This unit is graded platinum.

Unit 602 accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom, two twins in the guest bedroom, and a queen sized, pillow top “cozy” brand mattress on the sleeper sofa in the living room. Coffee maker & or Keurig available to guest. The unit has undergone many renovations and upgrades: new lighting, artwork and painting throughout, new kitchen granite counter tops and appliances including a Duo Coffee Maker, Air Fryer and Crockpot. The living room has plenty of seating, a new 4K, 55-inch flat screen smart Roku TV and 4K blue ray disc player. The master bedroom has newer furniture and bedding, a king-sized luxury pillow top mattress, and a 40-inch HD flat screen. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower, spacious granite counters, two sinks, and a comfort height toilet. The guest bedroom has two twin beds with a 40-inch 4K smart flat screen TV, and DVD player. The guest bathroom has a new quartz sink and comfort height toilet.

Removed from US Highway 98 traffic, but close to restaurants, retail and amusements, walk or jog on Holiday Isle's sidewalks through quiet streets, close to Noriega Point Park. Play tennis, or pickle ball on the resorts two courts, activity rentals on the beach, or two pools and hot tubs. Enjoy Destin's crystal waters and sun sitting in complimentary beach chairs with umbrella during your stay. (Set up on beach March 1 - October 31.)

Overall the stay was very enjoyable. The place was clean and the view was amazing of the ocean. The only inconvenience was the toaster only toasted on one side, but we just flipped to toast other side. We did make the front desk aware when we checked out so could be corrected before anyone else stayed.

Great location!

This place was the perfect place for our girls trip. It was in a great location close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. It was so nice having the chair and umbrella rental as part of our stay. We had a few minor repairs that needed attention when we got there but the front desk staff had maintenance fix it same day while we were on the beach. Great experience!

New Years Getaway

Excellent stay! We have stayed at the Islander before, but this unit is by far our favorite. This unit is perfectly located on the east wing allowing for a beautiful view of the gulf.

Starting with the positives.... The kitchen was clean. The appliances were the cleanest of all the condos we’ve ever rented. The master bath shower was nice and large. For the first time ever, I didn’t have to spend 2 hours cleaning the unit, which has been our experience with other vacation rentals. The pool was clean and nicely maintained. The property was clear of trash and debris. The location was nice along the shore. Bryson did a wonderful job setting up and taking down the chairs and umbrellas. That was a nice amenity. The luggage and shopping carts were a fantastic idea and kudos to whomever thought of that. Made moving in & out very efficient and quick. For the negatives..... The carpet was filthy and needs steam cleaned. The master mattress was very uncomfortable. The laundry facilities were filthy so we found a local laundry mat and went there instead. There should be no charge for renting kayaks or paddle boards, etc. for guests that stay 5 or more days. That should be included in the condo rental charges. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we enjoyed our vacation..
