This condo was in a great area and was a short walk to the beach. The area had several restaurants and bars that you could walk to. Good size for 2 people and we liked being on the first floor. Comfortable bed!

Perfect Vacation Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything you need is provided. Very clean, quick access to the beach, restaurant right across the road all walking distance. Very cozy and would definitely return here when we come back. All instructions very easy from check in to check out. Family friendly!

Beautiful

The stay was absolutely amazing! We loved how close the beach was to the property, as well as, restaurants and fun activities. The property was well maintained and made us feel right as home! The stay was very comfortable for the 5 nights we stayed. We enjoyed the pool as well! 10/10

Close to beach!

Nice condo for just the 2 of us. Close to restaurants and shopping so didn’t have to drive far. Pool looked great however we did not use this time. Would stay here again!

Mini vacation

I normally rent only beachfront condo's, but this was very clean unit was priced right as the beach is so close by simply walking a very short walk. I loved the patio area to relax peacefully drinking coffee in the morning. I have rented over 30 properties and this one ranks up there as a great place for a great value, 5 star and recommend it.

Fantastic!

This place was awesome! It had everything we needed and then some! We had a problem with toaster and coffee maker, and they replaced them within the hour! Super nice staff! It was very comfortable and convenient to the beach! I can't say enough and I do hope to return and hopefully I'm lucky enough to get the same unit.

Great Location for Pets

We booked this property due to our dogs and it worked out very well. Lots of grassy areas and disposal bags and receptacles. The lawns were watered each night keeping those areas fresh. We could also walk to two good restaurants and ride our bikes to others. For the price, a good choice for us.

Quaint Condo by the Ocean

We enjoyed five glorious days at Chateau La Mer. Walking distance to the beach, where we were greeted daily by Carl who showed us where our ocean view seats were for that day! Heaven! Absolute Heaven. We will definitely be going back. Only drawback of the visit were the knats....Nothing a can of RAID can't beat!!! Many blessings abound at Chateau La Mer; Tailfins tiki tours, Kenny D's, Blalocks Seafood Market, and Boathouse Oyster Bar, all minutes away creating the perfect getaway. Thank you Chateau-we will see you again in 2025!

Wouldn’t recommend

This condo is in serious need of updating including new furniture and a coat of paint. Condo was not clean. This is a very tired group of condos. I would stay elsewhere.

Family Vacation 2023 in Destin

We are a Family of four and really enjoyed the property. It provided just the right amount of space and privacy we needed for a great Family vacation. We utilized the barbecue grill provided on the nicely furnished patio area as well as cooked a couple of days. The unit was clean and free of insects and didn’t have any unusual smells. The decor was nice and gave beach vibes in a beautiful way. We also had our Yorkie, an ESA with us, which they honored and did not charge a pet fee. We would definitely visit again and get the same unit as we really enjoyed along with the close proximity to the beach and private access. It also wasn’t far from great restaurants and attractions.
