Cozy Home is the Heart of Des Moines

Centrally located 3 Bedroom home with attached GARAGE. Just minutes from downtown and Drake University with easy access to Hwy 235. The mail level of this newly remodeled bungalow comes with a king bed, two twin beds, and a couch. The lower level bedroom has a queen bed, and avery comfortable couch. Minutes from shopping and great restaurants. ***Please note: All holiday bookings will require a 2 night minimum (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4). Home is located in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Great place in central location

Very clean nice home with all needed amenities. There were three of us there for three nights. Comfortable and nicely appointed. Met our needs perfectly. And nice to have a garage to use--keep the car a bit warmer and didn't need to scrap off the snow.

Jodi is a great hostess! The property was very clean. Beds are comfortable. I’m definitely adding this one to my favorites as I know there will be many visits to Des Moines!

What a great find!

We had the pleasure of staying at this property in July, and it was perfect! There were 5 adults and 1 infant. With 2 bedrooms and a bath on the main level and a separate bedroom, bath, and living room downstairs it was the perfect fit for us. The house is located in a very quiet residential area and close to just about everything. The host was great, and the communication was so prompt and thorough. Very convenient, we would totally stay here again.

This property was very well kept. While being a small house it's still offered plenty of sleeping room tw0 living areas to take advantage of and a kitchen with everything you might need. The host communicated throughout our stay to make sure everything was OK. I will stay again!

Awesome place!!

I was in Iowa for my son’s wedding. Traveling with my son and his family. Ms Jodi was amazing. Check-in was super easy. The house was clean and perfect for what we needed and the neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. The beds were comfortable and there were even toys for my granddaughter to play with. I’ll definitely use her again on my next visit. Highly recommend this sweet house.

Wedding prep

The property is well designed. The surprise was the delightful sitting area in the basement bedroom area. We were looking for a two bedroom 2 bathroom rental so we would all have space to get ready for a wedding in Madrid on Saturday afternoon. There were great local restaurants nearby and we had a great stay.

Impressive little house

Jodi did amazing job communicating with us. Even included a snow shower to add to the memories. House was clean and very easy to find utensils to cook our dinner. Only two possible improvements are requested for next time: add a stool or bench in the downstairs shower and maybe some additional throw pillows for the upstairs couch

Worked Great

My 3 kids and I stayed for our annual "Adventureland Week". The house worked great for what we needed--we didn't use the basement, but it was set up nicely to give a slightly private living area if staying with more people.

A Lovely Place

A three bedroom, two bath, cozy cottage in a fine neighborhood in the middle of the Des Moines metro. Has everything. A rate it a 5 star accommodation, and the owner deserves 6 stars.

Des Moines Stay July 22, 2023

Thank you Jodi for a wonderful stay on our way to Yellowstone National Park. After a long day of driving your home was a peaceful haven. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves and have a nice comfortable nigjts rest.
