In general this property was not in very good shape. Many things had been neglected over the years and it was in need of a refresh (deep clean, painting, new fridge, old frying pans, hardware missing on dresser drawers). Also, with the lovely four-wide patio doors in the living room were only operating on one side, unlike the picture (quite disappointing). There was a "do not use" note taped to the left half and the on-site person said they were having trouble getting a repair person in to deal with it.Additionally, the little gas-fired wall-mounted water heater unit above the gas range leaked water onto the cooktop when in use. And we could only get enough hot water for very short showers of 5-7 minutes. The overseas owner is very slow to respond to communications (sometimes weeks). And the local property manager and the nice gentleman next door seem only empowered to do so much.Like many places in Barbados, it is very noisy with the loud buses, trucks, motorcycles and super-up cars going by.The beach is OK but you may want to bring water shoes as there are a lot of broken coral and stores under foot. Plus, there is a soft sand drop drop-off of about 18" as you wade in, right at the point where the waves are breaking and the water is churned up so you can't see it. Many people stumbled and fell at this point, especially when exiting the water. The lower rental flat in this building offered much better value with properly updated interior and furnishings.
