Summary:
Experience the perfect balance of historical charm and modern luxury in the heart of downtown Golden! This fully renovated getaway offers a beautifully designed gourmet kitchen, three uniquely styled bedrooms, and four luxurious bathrooms. Immerse yourself in the local scene by exploring the town’s best eateries, breweries, shops, parks, and trails, all just steps from your door! You’re also located a short drive from Colorado’s top attractions, including Red Rocks, Denver, and the Rockies.

The Space:
This beautifully updated home has kept the best of it’s historic charm and architecture, while the inside has been completely remodeled and expertly designed. Each room in the home has it’s own unique color schemes and decor, but all feature natural light, and a bright and vibrant atmosphere.

All three bedrooms have private, en suite bathrooms, plus there is an additional half bathroom on the main level of home. The main floor boasts an open concept floor plan - the comfortable living room with a smart TV and fire place lead into the gourmet kitchen fully stocked for making delicious meals. The sunny primary bedroom is also on the main floor. The upstairs features two bedrooms, while one features a twin sleeper sofa, perfect for the kids room. Talk about a luxury stay!

Utilize the parking space designated for the home in the back parking lot. There is also easy, off-street parking in the front of the home on 14th Street.

The Neighborhood:
Downtown Golden is the perfect home base for exploring the town and the Front Range. The area is full of heritage architecture and vibrant businesses. The location is incredibly walkable, with many top restaurants, bars, breweries, and shops within a 5-10 minute walk. Whether it’s an afternoon of shopping at the local boutiques, an evening out for a fine dinner, a day exploring historical sites, or playing in the area’s outdoor paradise, there’s something for everyone.

One of Golden’s most alluring features is its proximity to attractions such as Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater, Golden Gate Canyon State Park, the Colorado School of Mines, adventures like Lookout Mountain, Lariat Loop, great hiking and climbing, and exploration in the Rockies. You’ll find coffee shops, restaurants, breweries, unique boutiques, and history lessons right outside your door!

Indulge Bistro & Wine Bar (0.2 miles) - Burgers and small plates are paired with global wines and cocktails at this stylish restaurant.

Looking to recharge in the mountains? Hop onto I-70 to experience breathtaking hikes and views within an hour. One of Colorado's main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which makes for a great day trip. Drive a little over an hour through a dramatic canyon for a day of hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We're also within a couple of hours of Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain.

This location is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Golden and surrounding towns, the Rockies, and even Denver if you’re craving the hustle and bustle of the big city!

Getting Around:
The Rocky Mountains are to the West, and Denver is South of where you will be staying. I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas, while you can hop on I-25 to access Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. The 36 takes you to Boulder and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park.

Downtown Golden is a highly walkable city. In addition to nearby Clear Creek Trails, Washington Avenue and the historic 12th Street neighborhood are great locations to stroll. A car is recommended if you will be exploring the mountains. For those without a car, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft to reach further destinations in and around Golden. Get exploring!

Beautiful home in great location!

The house was just as advertised! Super clean and very pretty. The kitchen was well appointed with wonderful appliances and had everything we needed for meals. The location was fabulous..only one block away from all the shops and restaurants in the adorable and fun town of Golden.We loved walking around the town and back to the house. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

Nice Golden Location

This house was very well appointed, had a new, updated feel to it and yet maintained the character of an older Golden home. The location was perfect for walking to town and accessing the hiking trails. Close to a grocery store as well. The beds were comfortable with ensuite bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked. Very nice place!

Perfect location!

Golden House was perfect for our family. Each room has its own bathroom, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was so nice, great family room. It was a wonderful stay in a great location, walkable to downtown and a grocery. Wonderful stay and so clean!!

Golden Getaway

What a gem! This sweet home is so unique and beautiful! We headed to Golden to see a concert at Red Rocks and decided to stay in this home for several days. We never had to drive anywhere, the location is just a block away from hiking, great food, shops and the cutest town I've ever seen.

Red Rocks Extravaganza

5 adults had a wonderful time at this property! It was well decorated, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed walking to downtown Golden, tubing down the river, and hanging out at the house. Our trip culminated in a short trip to Red Rocks for an unbelievable concert!

Steps to Downtown Golden

Well appointed and thoughtful decor. This house was great for our stay and very easy to access downtown Golden. Kids got lucky as it snowed the day before our arrival so they had fresh snow to play in out front! Host is very responsive.

Be careful of rate changes!

We stayed a week through the Thanksgiving holidays. The place seems brand new- very clean and all the necessary amenities. Location is a block from the main drag, and a pleasant walk to cafes, Safeway, and a walk along the river. I booked it along with other properties for other travel and I confused myself when I saw the actual qThe advertised daily rate is more than reasonable, but the price we finally paid was much higher.

Mile High Trip

My wife and I came with another couple for Packers vs Broncos game at mile high. Location was spot on it was clean and newly furnished. Highly recommend this property which is within walking distance from Coors Brewery and to downtown golden.

CU Boulder Family Weekend Retreat

Home is as advertised; newly remodeled and clean to high standards. My family of 5 was very comfortable and had zero complaints. This home does not disappoint and will become a favorite for many, so book when/if you can before it becomes very hard to get, as the price was less than affording 2 quality hotel rooms in the Boulder area to accommodate my family, and a much better experience for family gathering and down time. Based on cleanliness and high standard of furnishings, fixtures, and amenities, this property is top notch all the way around. Much credit is due to the owner's decor choices and the management company's attention to detail. I did move the benches by the front doors to the master closet on main floor for luggage to rest, as there were not luggage racks in that room, which is a stretch to come up with a single thing to improve upon. Very well done and convenient location to hop on 93 to Boulder where we spent most of our time. We needed the escape due to the Prime-Time game-day effect and masses of people for Family weekend on/around campus. Overall, will recommend to friends and will stay again.
