We came for our son’s concert at Red Rocks. Our daughters and 5 grandchildren, ages 11 to 17 were with us. We enjoyed the house and had plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The outdoor space was great for our crew.The only suggestion for your property would be to add a full length mirror. When the girls dressed for the concert they would have liked to be able to see how their outfits looked. It was not possible with the high bathroom mirrors.

Overall uncleanDirty bathrooms and beds hair of unknown originDusty Vents The listing states 3 full bathrooms there were no functioning bathing options.The master shower requires vise grips to turn on the knobs.The master bath toilet is awkwardly positioned near the vanity if you have mobility issues or a larger individual it is unusable.The secondary shower doesn't adequately drain causing the water to pool in the tub.The downstairs shower nozzle is in awkward position you must lean against the wall to use the water.It feels very unsafe for women or single travelers there are no curtains or window coverings of any kind in the living spaces. Anyone passing by after dark can see all the way through the home from the street.This made the common areas unusable.Spartan amenities no furniture in the rooms aside from the bed and a small side table with lamp.No place to unpack your luggage.Mattresses are very hard.AC is not big enough or adequate for the size of the home or the 100-degree temperature. Spent every night dripping sweat.Distinct musty smell, like mold/mildew throughout the house. Ice maker didn’t work.Pictures are not accurate and do not reflect the home and its characteristics. The backyard photos in the listing did not reflect the actual unkempt state of the backyard.They should not have been listed on VRBO with that level of disrepair. Spent the trip speaking with VRBO/the host and waiting for maintenance and cleaners that never showed up.

The size and location were just what we needed for a family event. When we first arrived there were panels from the headboards on the floor in several bedrooms. We also had old parts to the shower faucet left in the master shower, a bathtub that did not drain well and no air conditioner for about 15 hours. It felt like the small items just kept piling up. The property manager was quick to respond to numerous messages about the items and the air conditioning was repaired during our stay.

Girls weekend

The house was super cute with plenty of space for all 9 of us girls. The location is perfect to get just about anywhere fairly quick. The host was very responsive and got back to me right away with any questions we had. Overall perfect place for our girls trip!

The house is as whimsical as it looks in the pictures. It was a great space for our family to stay together while we were in the Arvada area for our family reunion. This house would also be a great place for a bachelorette or birthday group too!

Beware

Upon arrival, the temperature in the house was 78 degrees. The AC was running but obviously not working. After multiple communications with the host and promises to send a technician, we figured out the AC had frozen up. Fortunately, for us, we have a family member that works in the HVAC industry and told us what we needed to do to alleviate the issue. The host never sent a technician in our entire stay to look at the air conditioner, but instead insisted we use two fans that they provided. We took it upon ourselves to buy additional fans and was able to get the air conditioner unfrozen. However, it was very difficult to keep the home cool for the entire week that we were there. We alerted the host about this multiple times and no one was ever sent to look at the air conditioner. We found old food on carpets and in cabinets. The hot water valve was broken in the basement bathroom deeming it unusable Sent multiple pictures and videos. They kept promising someone was coming to fix it. No one ever did.The backyard looks nothing like the advertised photos. The outdoor furniture was dirty and in disrepair. There were overgrown dead weeds everywhere. The “pond” was full of stale disgusting water. We also alerted the management company to this on day one. We were asked to send photos multiple times which we did. It was never addressed. With all of the issues we had we felt we were entitled to a sizeable refund. They refunded us 10% and fixed none of the issues.
