"Lovely place "

"We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit. The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again, and absolutely recommend it to other travellers. "

"Beautiful, comfortable property in a great, secluded location at the bottom of a valley. Everything we needed was there, and the hosts were waiting with the keys to give us the tour. Dog friendly, but be aware that the garden is not fully fenced off from the fields and sheep roam through it regularly. I can see how the track to the house could be challenging in winter, but it was no problem in a rear-wheel drive coupe in summer, even in the rain."

Rooms spacious and comfortable.slept really well . No need for duvets as room was really warm . "My wife, son & I decided to have a spontaneous night away (21-6-25) and after reading a few reviews and using google for location we decided to book with the Stamford Gate Hotel. On arrival the staff were extremely helpful and answered our questions. The room was good and I was even surprised to see trouser pressers in the room. Something I have not seen in many of years which and made me smile and have a good childhood memory of my late parents. The building looks very pretty inside and out...

"The bungalow was very cosy and warm. A small garden to sit out in although you feel watched as the club house next door has cameras that over look the garden. My weeks stay was brilliant, Enjoyed the stay but wished there had been clearer communication about some of the dog walks around the area. Only told the area was dog friendly on my last day. They do supply beding, towels and cleaning equipment. Very friendly cleaning lady who introduced herself after my first day and she made some...
