Todo excelente, muy bonito lugar, habitaciones cómodas y staff amigable, excepto que no estaban todavía todos los servicios disponibles por ser el inicio de la temporada (un restaurante y el gym cerrado, y algunas cosas del menú no disponibles.

I felt it was very misleading to say it was in Denali Park, which technically it was in Denali State Park, but most people including myself,are looking to go to Denali national Park. You are unable to go from this location unless you also spend a separate night at Denali national Park because the bus system that takes you there does not return you on the same day. (and it cost $75 each way),Also, I was very unhappy with the room. There was no microwave no refrigerator and if you can believe it in this day and age no Wi-Fi! The only Wi-Fi available was in a couple of the on-site restaurants and within the lodge, which was a fairly long walk away. The room was not well cleaned. They were empty candy wrappers on the floor and a big wad of dark hair in the bathroom tub. Not mine for sure as I have light hair the lodge is so far from anything you are basically held hostage to use their restaurants. They do have a shuttle bus they charge you for that will take you into the nearest town that is an hour away. I do not recommend this place. I was very disappointed.

The most expensive and least impressive part of our Alaska stay. The room was cleaned disappointingly - with hair ties on the floor, hair all over the bathroom, and old notes left on the notepad and most lamps unplugged. The other hotel amenities were mediocre at best. Want to spend $20 on breakfast that DEFINITELY came from a hot buffet, but is served to you tableside? You should check out the 20320 Grill. You will also get poorly made drinks. The one positive was the raspberry jam. Everything else just made me sad. Maybe this is normal for Princess Cruises and their hotels? Not sure, but now I'll never know. I would not recommend and would not book again.

There should be times posted for restaurant hours and reservation options. Food at lunch restaurant was not very good. Fish and Chips were from a freezer and were way too pricey for what you were getting. Rooms were adequate but could have used a fridge and microwave,

We are 70 year olds with physical limitations and had to take our 45# luggage uphill a fair distance then up 20 stairs to our room. The person they checked us in didn’t know how to get to our room she had to ask for help twice. This was at 4:00. Check in was at 3:00. Our room was not ready until 6:00 so we had to sit at end of hallway. I called the front desk and got the same person that check me in. She keep saying I’m sorry I don’t know. I asked to speak to her supervisor was put on hold 5 minutes and she came back on line and said her supervisor didn’t know how long we would have to wait. We stayed two nights and our room was not cleaned at all and we had to use our same towels as we did not get fresh ones. Not what we expected at all for the price we paid. The Princess in the name applies to Princess cruise line tours which the majority of the people there were from them and the got valet service and use of a shuttle. They should only allow Princess Cruise line guests there

My wife and I arrived at 4pm. Checked in at reception. We were handed our key card and went to find our room. Upon entering our room it was not ready. Reception told us that they were extremely busy and working hard to get rooms ready. We left our contact number and asked to be called when our room was ready. We checked back at 730pm and were told that our room just became available. When we asked why we did not get a phone call we were informed that the staff are busy! The person on the front desk said he was on the job only two weeks and everyone was still training. We ate dinner on site. My meal was burnt to a cinder. The waitress threw it all away and ordered another meal. My wife had finished her meal by the time I began mine! Overall, the McKinley Lodge is an average place to stay. The issue is the place is over booked, too many guests arriving via cruise block bookings. Staff cannot cope with the mass departures and arrivals. They are overwhelmed. Old style lodging. Lots of older cruise guests hanging around with little to do. A lot of dissatisfied clients.

When I arrived at 7:30 pm, they sent me to my housing area in Building 14. The whole building was being cleaned. My room was finished a little before 8 pm. While I waited outside my room, several large mosquitoes chose to check me out. They should have told me the room was not ready, and then I would have waited in the lobby instead.

This is a resort pretending to be close to luxury and close to the wilderness when it's close to neither. Problems started immediately upon my arrival when staff did not explain how to get to the room I was assigned. The map provided may be the worst map I've ever used. After navigating to the farthest room away from the main lodge I discovered that complimentary WiFi is not offered. The room was fine but nothing special. The water pressure in the shower was low and being so far away from everything else was inconvenient in spite of the free shuttle around the property. In the morning, we had breakfast at the Alaskan Grill on site and it was terrible. Despite being sat first, the waitress helped another table. I ordered coffee with cream and rather than give me cream she poured about a half gallon into my mug which ruined it. The rest of the food (veggie omelette, Continental breakfast) was very bad and overpriced. I tried to charge the meal to the room but the waitress said I needed some sort of paper from the front desk which I was never given. I went to the front desk to tell them that but they looked at me like I had eight heads and finally told me that they don't charge to the room (mind you,the receipt from the restaurant said they did except on the departure day). We walked the Treehouse trail (which is actually mislabeled on the map, see above) nee Hill Trail which had a decent view but is nothing special. Overall I would never recommend this place to anyone
