We loved our stay at this cabin! It was super clean, well taken care of, and had everything we needed. We even saw deer right on the property, which was such a cool experience. The host was awesome — really friendly and quick to answer any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved This Place!

Wonderful quiet place in a nice community. A great getaway for the family looking to relax and maybe get a little hiking in. Would definitely stay again.

My Family had an amazing stay. This was the perfect getaway for us. Check in was a breeze and Cabin was as pictured. We had plenty of space and something to do for all ages. From the guard hut to the neighbors everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming.

This was a very nice cabin in a beautiful area! We loved the room down stairs with the ping pong table. They made it feel very homey. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Summer Vacation

We had a wonderful time reconnecting as a family at the Days Mountain Retreat! The cottage is beautiful and nestled perfectly amongst the trees. The location is perfect and allowed us to easily visit Boone, Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, and enjoy the Blue Ridge Parkway. We looking forward to many more stays at the Days Mountain Retreat!

Spent a quick weekend in the mountains with kids and the property was perfect! Brand new stocked kitchen for cooking, cozy indoor fireplace with split wood, beautiful woods views from the porch swing. Kids got a kick out of sleeping in the bunk beds, enjoying the game shelf and the ping pong. By far the biggest hit was the deer that came right up to the porch every morning and evening to eat deer corn that the owners provided. Was just a perfect cozy home for the weekend!

Great Family Getaway in the woods.

Great cabin in the woods! We had a great stay! There are deer right outside the cabin every day! The property was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is updated with plenty of cookware and untensils.

Beautiful!

We loved the cabin and all it had to offer. We enjoyed playing ping pong, playing cards, and feeding/watching the deer! It was relaxing, clean, beautiful. We went swimming in the creek near the campground everyday and headed into Boone/Blowing Rock each afternoon for dinner, etc. we hope to stay here again!

Stay in Powder Horn Mountain

Our family took a short weekend trip to Powder Horn Mountain and wanted something in the woods close to Boone. This cabin was exactly what we expected. Nice location in the middle of the community and had a great "cabin in the woods" feel. Owner was very responsive and the cabin was ready to go when we arrived.

Beautiful place to rest and relax with family.

The Days Mountain Retreat is just that a retreat where we reconnected with family and friends. Powder Mountain is beautiful. The cabin has updated bathrooms and a newly remodeled kitchen. We loved to hike on the trails on the mountain. The weather was perfect. You can also go into Boone. The people are very friendly in town. Excellent breweries, wineries, restaurants and shopping in the area.

We had a great trip. My only concern was that the cabin was dusty and had cobwebs throughout.

Overall we had a great time. We were only there a short time due to getting in late on Friday, skiing all day Saturday and leaving Sunday. We would love to come back when wed can stay longer. The only thing that I would say negative is that the dusting wasn't great. There were lots of cobwebs. We would definitely love to stay again and would recommend it to others.

Secluded and ok

Listing had pool table under amenities but there was no pool table, only ping pong table in basement. Stairs to basement were steep and no handrail which was safety hazard. Also master bed was covered in dead huge black ants and i was bitten by one during the night. Also many black ants and spiders in the house and we had to unload the dishwasher to load our dishes. Trip was nice but would not rent this place again.
