We have had smoke remediation performed: Painted ceilings, all surfaces have been washed and sanitized, indoor heat and air unit has been disassembled and cleaned, ductwork has been cleaned, and there is a HEPA air purifier running in the unit.*

While we love your furry friends, please clean up after your pet if you bring them. Due to several instances PETS ARE NOT TO BE ALLOWED ON BEDDING OR FURNITURE. If we have to clean excessively for fur/shedding on furniture or bedding you may be required to pay an additional fee above and beyond the pet deposit. ***Guests Staying Over 28 Days***
For reservations exceeding 28 days, an additional cleaning fee will apply for each 28-day period. A professional cleaning and restocking service will be scheduled at each 28-day interval to maintain the quality and comfort of the unit.

These additional charges will be communicated and invoiced separately after the initial booking. Please note that acceptance of these charges is required to confirm and maintain the reservation. Failure to accept the additional fees may result in cancellation of the booking.

Very spacious. Had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable and cozy. Plenty of yard for the kids to run around and play. Playground and cows were nice as well. Host was very easy to work with. 5 stars in my families opinions. As long as this place is available it will be our new go to spot when we visit family in Boone.

I think this is the 5th time we've stayed here. It's exactly what we need. It's always clean and Chuck makes updates every year. Chuck is very responsive to any inquiries and is very easy-going. The kitchen is well equipped and the place is very roomy.

Awesome stay!

House was clean, exactly as listed, and convenient! The listing was probably the most well-stocked rental I’ve used, including toiletries in the master. Owner was so super quick at responding when I had a question. Location is ideal for all High Country activities. Will continue to stay here!

Great central location

We knew we were going to be traveling a lot between Wilkes, Boone and Banner Elk and didn’t want to waste a lot of time driving up a mountainside to get to our rental every day/night. This place was perfect. Dollar General at the end of the driveway came in handy. House was clean and was just as described. Had everything we needed, everything worked properly and host was super communicative. Would stay again.

This is our 4th year staying here! Chuck is a great host! He's always been so helpful to meet any needs we might have! The unit is always clean and comfortable and Chuck has made upgrades as the years have gone by. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful view 360 degrees outside! Far enough out of town to be secluded yet close enough to be convenient to everything! Nicely decorated inside! We’ve stayed there four times now and will definitely be back if we need to be in the area !

Third stay!

We love staying here! Chuck is always so responsive to any needs - the heat went out - just one of those things that happens unexpectedly - and he had it fixed immediately! He's upgraded the dishes in the kitchen this year and added some bowls and baking dishes. Very nice for someone like us who has a long stay! Planning on coming back next year.

Country Pleasure

This house is a perfect getaway for staying near Boone or the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's far enough away to have the peace of the country but a quick drive to get to Boone. The house is clean and roomy and Chuck was a responsive host. The fire pit was fun for roasting marshmallows and we would definitely come back here again.

Peacefulness

Great place to relax from my city noise and fast pace movement. Was able to visit Grandfather Mountain closer than we have stayed. Food Lion and Dollar General close for getting food to cook. Very nice to cook in. Thanks and see ya soon.

Great spot for us for what we needed for a weekend in Boone. Perfect landing spot in the evenings after a day of exploring. Easy in, easy out. Big yard for the kids to play in and the fire pit was ready to go. Would stay here again.

Perfect for my family and I. We loved the fire pit. The house is super clean. We cooked our meals there instead of going to restaurants. Very comfortable. If we come back to the area we will stay here again.

MLK Weekend

This was our second time staying at this property. We love the location and our experience renting the house has been excellent both times. Our extended family takes an annual trip on MLK weekend and last year we booked this property for the first time and enjoyed it so much we came back. Plan to return again in 2024 Lord willing!

Second Stay!

We love this place ❤! Chuck is very responsive if we have any needs - such as running low on dishwasher detergent! Otherwise, he just lets us do our thing. The bedrooms are nice and the master bath is very nice sized. The kitchen is adequately furnished for a month's stay. The place is conveniently located between Boone and Wilkesboro which is exactly what we need. Hope to stay here again.
