150' of lakefront & sits along Michigan Snowmobile Trail

Our 5 bedroom house sits on a double lot (170 feet of shoreline) next to a 90 acre full sport lake. The house has a full kitchen on the upper level and a 1/2 kitchen on the lower level to accommodate outdoor cooking on the grill or flattop.
The lower level is a walk-out basement to the lakefront with a large patio. Our property is treated year round for mosquito control. While not perfect, the treatments dramatically reduce the evening bites.
The property has a nice outdoor block fire pit with stacks of firewood included in your rental.
With Keeler Lake being located just outside Sister Lakes, you will not feel crowded and struggle to park. There are no houses across the street and with a double lot on both sides, your nearest neighbors will be at least 80 feet away.

Keeler Lake is a 10 minute drive from Sister Lakes, 20 to Dowagiac, with more nearby.

Our property is directly across the street from the official state snowmobile trails. This property would make a great home base for the avid snowmobilers.

Outdoor fires are only allowed in the brick fire pit. Do not burn anything on the beach.
Any parties and/or events must be cleared by the owner. We're happy to have you host any event but we may have some additional requirements.
The hardest part of our cleaning/turnover process is doing towel laundry. We appreciate any towel laundry that you can complete throughout your stay.

Beautiful House & Location

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at this vacation house. Everything was clean and in working order. Communication with the owner was excellent. The beach was so nice. We were able to kayak and play in the sand and float to cool off. We all had a great time. No complaints!

Family Vacation

We had a great time at this property. 4 adults and 6 kids. Listing was accurate per description. A ton of activities for kids. Beach was clean and used daily. Great fishing. Beautiful view of lake.

Great time!

Very impressed with property. The sandy beach and the lake were so clean. Kids couldn’t get enough of playing with sand toys on beach and swimming. Also caught many fish off the dock. We enjoyed kayaking and going on the pontoon The lower level patio had screening so perfect spot to relax in evening. and also eat meals as it is right next to the grills.

Great Experience

There was plenty of space for our large group, and the outdoor space was particularly great. The young kids loved to swim and play in the sand, and the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards were great for the teens and adults. The tree in the yard is one of the best there is for swings, and there were a couple our kids loved to swing on. There was plenty of space for yard games, and they had everything we needed at the house. Would definitely stay again!

Great long weekend location

This place was a great place to stay for my brother’s wedding. My family and I were comfortably housed without too much overlap. The downstairs area was very nice and inviting. We only had one tiny issue and Chris took care of it swiftly. I would definitely stay here again!

Torres vacation 2022

We like to vacation in the dowagic area because of the beautiful keeler lake. We drove all the way from south Texas 3,000 miles 2 way. And this house was very large and easily accommodated a family of 14 . The outside grill was perfect,We cooked our breakfast out there. Pancakes,eggs,bacon and alot more stuff. No need to use the stove only for baking homemade pies we bought in the area. And the boat that we also rented was more fun then we expected. The water toys in the little storage unit was filled. alot of life jackets for all sizes, kayaks, canoes , water bords and other stuff. We also had an amazing time on the swings that are hanging from a large tree. All we saw in the house was alot of happy smiling faces. We would like to thank Chris for letting us enjoy his lovely house. We will be definitely be back.

House on Keeler Lake

Owner Chris was accommodating, kind in his demeanor, and professional to work with. Place and location were exactly as described in the listing. View was great. I really appreciated all the water toys, rafts, kayaks, paddle boards, etc that were there so I didn’t have to bring any! Plenty of nearby restaurant options (10 min away) for when you don’t want to cook. I would definitely go back.

Great Lakehouse

This was our second year at this lakehouse and just as last year it is perfect. Very clean with everything you could possibly need. Clean sandy beach, kids played there all week. The pontoon boat is awesome and you would not regret renting it. The owner immediately responds to any questions. You cannot find a better lakehouse.

Great Relaxing Stay

Great Lake house. Chris provides quick responses to any question you might have. Great upgrades to house as well as vast outdoor spaces and plenty of things to do. Only issue with Keeler lake was it seemed to have a lot of seaweed/ moss right off the dock area. Still a 5 star rental.

Amazing Lakehouse

This was our first time renting a Lakehouse and we picked a perfect one. The beachfront was clean with clear shallow water for the young kids to play in. We rented the pontoon boat for our stay and it provided some great cruises around this very quiet and peaceful lake. Hardly any boast traffic all week. The Lakehouse itself is all it is stated to be. Very roomy and very clean. All the toys you could need for the young kids. The owner provides anything you could possibly need and stays in contact with you for any help the whole time. Could not have had a better experience and we will be back next year.

Annual Family Vacation - Keeler Lake

We (14) of us enjoyed our second stay at this lake house for our annual family vacation. The home is as described. The lake and lake toys are great. The owner put on a new deck since last year. It was a nice improvement. We enjoyed playing board games out on the new deck table. The home is well equipped, easy to access with good parking. The lake is very quiet. Fishing is good. The 5 bedrooms are not large but they work well with our family as we have married children with children. With so much to do, you don’t spend time in the bedrooms other than to sleep anyway. There are 2 bathrooms -one on each floor. The kitchens are well stocked with items to prep meals too! We think the owner is easy to reach and good to work with. We all enjoyed the kayaks, swim pad, paddle boat, paddle boards and noodles. We would recommend to others.

Perfect Getaway for a group of friends/family

I decided to take a vacation with my family (Girlfriend and daughter) and 3 couples of friends. My main requirement was we were looking for a lakehouse and somewhere we could rent a boat. As soon as I contacted Chris he was very responsive and accommodating. The house was great. Plenty of room for sleeping, very clean, and recently updated so the house is actually NICER than the pictures do justice. Just as everyone has said in the reviews there are so many things here that you would not even expect. Games, Bluetooth Speakers, Pool Toys, 2 grills, Kitchenware etc. We made corn which we ate with our hands. I made a joke that the only thing this place was missing was pokers for the corn. Once finished eating, after more investigation they actually DID have the corn pokers. lol. The boat was absolutely perfect. Newer model and very easy to drive. Electronic Anchor. Again, this place has everything you can ask for. We were able to go on the water everyday and the weather cooperated very well. The location is quaint, and very nice. There is an apple orchard across the street, and we make a walk around the neighborhood more than once. We had people coming and going due to schedules, but we would absolutely love to come back and rent from Chris when we have more time to prepare. I would recommend this property to anyone, and is truly one of the best vacations i have ever taken.

Perfect Lake House!

Our family rented this home with another family (4 adults and 5 kids) and it was perfect! Even more room then we needed. We were shocked at all the things they had for the kids to do. From swings, to paddle boards, Lilly pad mat, and all the sand toys they couldn’t get enough. The beach was close enough to the house that we could sit on the patio and watch the kids without worrying. Sandy clean beach on a perfect sized lake. We added the pontoon boat to our rental and it was the best thing we did! Do yourself a favor and rent it too! It’s brand new! Went out on the lake multiple times a day. 2 fully stocked kitchens and 3 fridges - legit they have it all! The owner Chris was super helpful. Responded to any questions we had in minutes and made sure we had anything we needed! We’ve already booked our trip for next summer and plan to go every year! Perfect house and lake! Thanks Chris!

Family fun

We had an excellent trip! Everything was perfectly clean. The house had absolutely anything you could need, it made traveling so easy. There were so many fun things for us to do, swimming, boating, paddleboating, paddle boarding, canoeing and everything in between. Chris was extremely easy to get a hold of and made the process so easy. Highly recommend!
