Though this is a studio suite, the plush sofa, access to the private balcony, and full kitchen will give you more than enough room to spread out and feel comfortable. When days heat up, you will have no lack of activities right at your fingertips with the shared beach access right below. Not to mention, the free WiFi and TV will be just the ticket for sharing favorite memories on social media or streaming favorite movies as the stars come out!

Perched in the heart of all the action in Daytona Beach, this condo will be the perfect jumping-off point for any activity in the area. The beach is obviously mere steps away, yet a plethora of restaurants, shops, and more are within walking distance as well. When you want to venture out a bit, make your way to one of the local golf courses for a round of 18 or visit the famous Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum just six miles down the coast.

THINGS TO KNOW
Ongoing construction, possible noise from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, possible elevator closures and water shut off at buildings discretion.
Building will leave notes in lobby and elevators when anything will effect inside the units. Please note: there is continued construction on the balconies at this time.
The pool is under construction and closed until further notice.
Netflix & HBO streaming available - guest accounts required to access.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 6.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN FOR RENT!

We had stayed at Pirates Inn last year, knowing that the pool was out of service, and we were fine with that. The day we arrived after driving 15 hours from Ohio, we found a not-so-great situation! Entering the room, we discover that the balcony was OUT OF SERVICE! We received ZERO notice on this issue! We had booked this room in May! Also, to find the Table and Chairs in the ROOM from the balcony! Mind you, this room is a studio, so it took up half the room! I had to climb around this outdoor furniture several times to try to see why the door for the balcony was sealed shut. The balcony was getting fixed, etc., and there was no railing even up. So I try and call VRBO to try to figure out why I was not notified of the balcony situation. The first person I talked to tried to say that I was advised on July 12 about the Balcony.. THAT WAS A BOLD-FACED LIE! It was July 12, that same day! I checked all my e-mails, including spam and junk ZERO from VRBO. So I simply explained to the guy to find us another room, that we simply booked that room and that building for the ocean and balcony views! I explained to the guy also that only half the room could be used with the furniture from the balcony inside. He said basically it was not a VRBO problem, it was VACASA, the host company. So I called them, and the first thing out of the first person was that it was VRBO's fault. I had gone back and forth for almost an hour trying to figure out a solution. Received ZERO help from VRBO AND

The room was excellent, stayed there before. Upon arrival a sign on the door - No Balcony Access. We rented because its on the 6th floor, loved the high top furniture and the balcony is private. The problem was not the room, but the building. The storm damage a few years ago still not done, the pool is empty, area around the pool is a mess and no access to the beach from building except side street. They had been cutting the walls on the balcony, the furniture - dirty. Fortunately, we could open the balcony door, wiped off the furniture, and we used it. The workers worked on other parts of the building during the day we used balcony morning and evening. the room next to us has their balcony door secured shut from the outside and had no access. I called Vacasa, they said they did not know. But the office in the building said they knew for 6 months. I understand the owner of the unit and Vacasa want to rent the unit, but the owner of the building is the problem. Its been years now, and they have done all but nothing. Then on July 3rd, the construction company came to us and said we had to take furniture off the balcony. No way was I going to bring that furniture inside. Then on July 4th, and Sat & Sun they did not work. We will not stay in this building again. I am glad I don't a unit in this building. but now, I see this room is re-listed, different heading and different pics, so this review is probably a waste of my time.

Oceanfront Serenity

It was a nice studio style condo. I know we would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't under construction. It would have been nice to have known this up front. The pool was out of order, you could not access the beach from the area due to the construction. The parking was limited as well. The roof work would start up about 7:30am!! Other than all of that. we managed to enjoy the clean, comfortable unit.

NIGHTMARE PLACE--LIES

We are 82 yrs. old---The worst place I have ever been in,,The view was fabulous. It ends there--couldnt get in--computer lock system battery was weak---3 couples worked for 1 hour to help me get in -6th floor balcony door wouldnt lock, had to tie door to heavy table to keep it from blowing open--the microwave LED display didnt work had to guess what the setting was--stove burners worked but nothing else--FILTHY--walked from bathroom to couch socks were BLACK--moved couch, food wrappers, bits of food, rubber bands on floor--wife bought a swifter--did the floors every day for 3 weeks still dirty--didnt tell us it was considered unsafe in Nov. 2022--under construction the whole month we were here--7AM--4:30 PM jack hammering on the roof above our heads--dust everywhere--listed cable tv--swimming pool on the beach---What you got was CHEAP internet TV--swimming pool was a hole in the ground with a cyclone fence around it-was told by the agent who showed up to replace batteries that the HOA was fighting over who was going to pay to repair the pool--FOR 21/2 years.. VASCASA immediately gave me a 374 cash refund--a joke for what they charged me--in the process of trying to get a refund from VRBO for what I call a fraudulent listing..

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Good-Beautiful view, cute decor and clean. Bad -check-in process with Vacasa. Needed DL & selfie. Although I sent both they couldn't verify me. I had to call to straighten it out. The door lock process to go in and out is insane. Ugly-blinds didnt work. Vacasa recommended we put up sheets. My huband had to climb on furniture to do so. AC sporatic, mold smell, low water pressure, bathroom door doesn't close all the way. Couldn’t lock balcony door.They did give a partial refund. We would have preferred a better experience.

Beautiful sunrises

Property was very nice and condo was clean. Instructions for entry were backwards and a little confusing. A neighbor was kind enough to help us figure out how the lock worked. Door needs to be painted and updated but, overall we really liked it.

Nice getaway

A nice small studio that is perfect for couples or single individuals. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the views of the ocean and the beach were perfect and the reclining couches will have you stuck watching your favorite show for hours. Everything is as it seems in the pictures and definitely worth the price.

The place was clean, cute, and located on the beach as advertised. True to the pictures. However, the musty smell that overwhelms the room when you step in is almost too much to handle. If we hadn't already paid for the room, we would have left over the musty smell alone.

Nice getaway

Visited for anniversary. Condo was excellent. Living in Jacksonville we knew about the hurricane recovery. The pool would have been nice to utilize but we were 100% understanding. Know rebuild takes time.

The big problem was with Vacasa. There was no parking pass in the room. It took us 24 hrs to finally get one. Devonna with Vacasa was great she is local which you should be given when you arrive. She got us a parking pass in 2 hrs. If you are staying here at any condos, apartments make sure your car has a pass in it or you will be towed. We had a perfect room we had a great time

One of the best condos in Pirates Cove.

Our group booked 3 condos for the weekend, and ours was the best by far! Full size fridge, working blinds, kitchen separated from the bed and living areas, great layout overall. Will be booking again.

The condo was ok. We contacted management several times to get things fixed but they never showed up. There was no water pressure in the shower,the ice maker didn't even work and the door handle fell off which made it diffo to open and close the door,the pool was closed, there was sand in the sheets and a pile of dirt by the dresser. Parking was difficult and no lights in the parking lot. Not enough spots to park

WORST STAY EVER!

We will never rent a VRBO from Vacasa again!! We’ve done plenty of these types of rentals but this was the worst! When we checked-in none of the appliances were working. We immediately called Vacasa, where we were promptly informed it was a known issue. In other words, they allowed our family to check into a property where they knew the appliances were not working. We got a hold of the property manager who promised to come fix it and never did. Vacasa said they would give us a credit, they never did. We contacted everyone we could get a hold of and everyone washed their hands. What bothered us the worst is that they knew the property was not fully functional and never gave us the opportunity to cancel, nor come up with a plan B. Whenever they fix the appliances they should remodel, unit is outdated.

Property was nice and in a good location. View of ocean was phenomenal!

Easy rental and check in process.. Was fairly clean, but area rugs need cleaned or replaced. They were very dirty. Had to call maintenance due to main door knob falling off, blind on balcony door would not go down so we duck taped a beach towel up, and we reported balcony door would not lock (this was not a problem being on 6th floor). Gentleman came and loved at? But did on fix. Other than these issues we would stay here again. Very nice location and view from balcony was phenomenal.

Beautiful views, clean, convenient location!

We came here for our 35th Anniversary and it was exactly what pictured! We usually stay in New Smyrna but decided to try a little north. Best decision ever! This was during spring break but you never would have known. Great location! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute waking up to have a beautiful walk on the beach watching the sunrise. Kitchen had everything you would need and more, bed was extremely comfortable and linens were perfect! We rented chairs and umbrella just outside the condo which was great as well! Who could ask for more? We do plan on coming back very soon! Thank you Vacasa!!!

Excellent beach budget getaway!

We had the best time on our trip. The room was super clean, and exactly as pictured. Bed was so comfortable, plenty of towels and all the right things in the kitchen to make meals. The building itself near the washer and dryers could use some TLC, and the only thing I can think of that would have made our stay better would be to add curtains to the windows. Sleeping in was not an option. 😖 But otherwise a great place to stay! I would recommend 100%!
