Come enjoy what we enjoy about our home: the peace that comes from walking on the beach in the morning with a great cup of coffee, the quiet of an oak tree covered neighborhood reminiscent of old Florida, and the closeness to so many great places to eat, things to do, and sites to see. We call our home Serenity by the Sea because that is what it is to us. We are located in an area called The Hammocks, between the Florida Intracoastal waterway and the Atlantic Ocean just across the bridge from Palm Coast, FL. It is truly a Floridian paradise, with the natural beauty of the Atlantic Ocean beach and protected natural lands full of large Spanish moss-draped Oak trees. We are 8/10 tenths of a mile from MalaCompra Road Beachfront Park; 3/10 tenths of a mile from Bing’s Landing Park, 3/10 tenths of a mile from MalaCompra Greenway Mountain Biking and Hiking Trails, and several unique and awesome restaurants. We are 30 minutes south of Historic St. Augustine and 30 minutes north of Daytona Beach. There are a lot of things to do nearby and yet lots of opportunities to do little but enjoy the peace, quiet, and serenity of the area. Our home features two bedrooms each with their own flatscreen TV, two bathrooms, a comfortable living area with a full-size pull-out sofa bed for overflow and kids, a fully stocked kitchen, parking for three vehicles, and all the things you would need for a beach vacation including plenty of chairs, coolers, a beach umbrella and an outdoor shower with hot water for after the beach. We provide towels, bedding, dish soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, paper towels, and toilet paper for your use. We have a great coffee bar with an espresso machine, bean grinder, and an automatic drip coffee maker. We also have a great Belgium waffle iron and an electric ice cream machine. We love spending time here and know that you will as well. We have a fenced in back yard, with string lighting, a paver brick patio, outdoor table, gas grill, and outdoor gas fire pit. Our home is pet friendly with some restrictions.

property was perfect for our needs. Very nicely decorated and was very well stocked for anything we needed. Location was a very short ride to the wedding venue we were attending. anyplace we wanted to go was a short car ride. Beach was less then a mile away

The house was cozy and comfortable. That was great, because Florida weather let us down. A January cold spell had us spending more time indoors than planned. Plenty of games, books, and TV subscriptions. The nearby Publix was very handy and their sushi - with 5 Wednesday specials - was a real treat. We would certainly stay here again.

We like to walk daily. This was perfect for a reasonable walk to the beach and back twice daily to get our 10,000 steps in. Main Road has sidewalk and the speed of the minimal traffic is 30 mph. Biking and hiking close by, too. Publix is a mile down the road. We visited three restaurants nearby. One is easy walking distance. We drove to the other two, but they were also about a mile down the road. Neighbors were friendly.Coffee bar is fantastic! If you love to make your own espresso, bring your own beans for the espresso machine with separate bean grinder. Host included user manuals for most things. If you don’t see the one you need, you can usually find one online or a Review video to show how to use something.We would rent here again.

We always enjoy staying here when we visit my parents hometown. The lovely amenity-rich comforts & quiet setting make it truly a joy to stay here.The hosts and home are welcoming and lovely. Chose the property due to location, which did not disappoint. Close to beach either by walking, biking or if need be to drive - there is amble parking with restrooms. Neighborhood was quiet, close restaurants, Publix less than a mile. Owners were attentive and gave great local information ... the fish & chips and Whaam Burgers were as stated. AMAZING. The home was completely stock, I mean well stocked for any kind of cooking/baking ... as if it was your home. The home was clean, comfortable beds, and bathrooms were large and clean. No complaints.

Our stay at Serenity by the Sea was delightful. The home was extremely clean, every room was nicely decorated, and the backyard was so peaceful and relaxing. Darrel and Marie truly thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. They took extra care to provide us with detailed information about the property including directions to the closest resturants and grocery stores to how to navigate the streaming services, etc. . .having this additional information made our stay extra nice. A huge thank you to Darrel and Marie for a wonderful stay!

This was our 2nd stay in Serenity by the Sea. My parents used to live in the area and my husband & I love returning to our 'home away from home' now that they're gone. We loved the house, location and the hosts/owners were so kind and helpful. All the way around, a lovely spot we enjoy so much. We will return again. Just a beautiful little hideaway. Clean quiet fully stocked with any normal everyday needs. I did walk to the beach it was more than short but still walkable. The beach was a bit rocky but quiet and absolutely beautiful

Hammock/Palm Coast, Flagler County is a beautiful hammock between Flagler Beach and St. Augustine. The area is a fabulous location with numerous destinations within very comfortable distance on foot, bike or car. There are even good restaurants in close proximity and the host’s book has great suggestions and photos. The hosts could not have been more accommodating and responsive. The house was clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, with more special extras than imaginable. More things than one can list but some are: full coffee bar experience, blender, waffle maker, fully equipped kitchen with great appliances. Great washer, dryer, dish washer, numerous bicycles in good condition ready to ride, beach chairs, towels, etc. fenced yard and deck which our standard poodle enjoyed with shade, beautiful oaks and plants. This was a really great find and we will surely return.

We had a wonderful experience at Serenity by the Sea and will definitely be back again. We need to in the return in the Spring to complete some family business and if available, look forward to another stay at this lovely house. The location at the end of a quiet, jungle like street is a perfect setting. Listening to the ocean at night while sitting on the patio under Spanish Moss draped trees is a magical experience. We truly loved our stay and look forward to coming back.

This well maintained Palm Coast house offers clean and modern amenities tucked away in a pleasant enclave of old coastal Florida nature. The closest beach is uncrowded and excellent for bird watching. There is a delightful fresh seafood market around the corner. Everything from the bedding, decor and streaming media to the landscaping and outdoor spaces provide comfort and tranquility. Thanks so much for creating this calming home away from home : )

This was our second year coming to Palm Coast! It was a wonderful visit with our family! The house was fully stocked with games/toys for the kids, lots of great tv apps, generous amounts of towels and all the kitchen items you’ll need! The beach items and outdoor shower were a great plus! We will definitely look into staying again next year for our family vacation! My husband and I spent 4 relaxing nights here with our 2 small dogs. We couldn't have asked for a better place. The house, from outside appears small, but it is beautiful, clean and very spacious once you open the front door and step inside. The backyard is fully fenced and the dogs loved it! From TV's in every room to plenty of dishes, appliances and all things needed for cooking. Lots of restaurant choices over the bridge, a short drive away. There's a quiet beach down the street that the dogs loved, too. If we return to this area, we will definitely stay at this perfect spot!

The house was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed and more. Fenced in backyard was great for our dog. The beach was just around the corner and was also very nice and pet friendly. We drove to Orlando to Universal Studios and also to St. Augustine one day to shop and explore. Both are easily within driving distance. We loved our stay here and will definitely be returning in the future!

This was a perfect setting for a great vacation. The home is very well-equipped and the fenced back yard provided peace of mind with us for our pup. Walk or bike to the beach, the park, trails, a fresh fish market, the ICW ... for us, an ideal location in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty to explore in the area if you like to be on the go and plenty of opportunity just to chill if that's your vibe. Some of our highlights included kayaking with Ripple Effects at Marineland, exploring the quiet solitude of Princess Place Preserve (lots of preserves in area), and finding local honey up the A1A at Donna's Honey Hut. Hosts were excellent communicators and very responsive. Thank you, Darrell and Marie. We would 100% stay here again!

The house was adorable, and just perfect for my husband and I. The house was clean, and well stocked with everything you may need to have an enjoyable stay away from home. The owner was very easy to contact, and responded immediately to my questions. I would definitely, stay at this home again.
