Lovely place, needs a few minor tweaks

We stayed here in 2019, property has been kept in good condition. Bathroom no 5 missing robe hooks, soap holder in shower and the mirror is held in place with blue tack. Given each guest one towel per person needs to change - spares should be available. Those with long hair need two towels. The BBQ isn’t worth using, we’d hoped it would have been updated. A few spare blankets would help. These are very minor items but worth the owner addressing.

Two night stay with friends

Property very clean, well positioned and great that all nine bedrooms had their own ensuite. Our group of 17 all gave the property a big “thumbs up”. The only criticism was that outdoor furniture was not up to the standard of the rest of the property.

Fabulous for large group of friends

Carrington House was absolutely perfect for our group of 8 couples celebrating our annual reunion (another ensuite bedroom for a ninth couple if required). As we desire, we all had our own king bedroom with our own ensuite bathroom, some with spa bath. Fabulous living/ dining area, with more than enough seating for everyone, leading out to a lovely outdoor garden area, with BBQ (which we didn't use), lots of outdoor seating and tables. Another smaller lounge with access from main hallway and also the kitchen, would suggest those who want to "kick on" use this room rather than the main living area, in consideration of those occupying rooms 7, 8 and 9! Well equipped kitchen, more than adequate for self-catering (Coles supermarket is a stone's throw away) if you would like to do that. Fridges in kitchen and laundry, 2 eskies on hand, if required, in the laundry. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware and utensils. Tea, coffee, paper towel, cling wrap and alfoil provided. Check in/out process so simple. Absolutely have no hesitation in recommending Carrington House Daylesford!

Property meet our needs perfectly. Six adult couples and two young children. Comfortable and did the job perfectly. All appreciated the fact that each room had an en suite. Needs better lighting on the outside deck, probably the best improvement that could be made.

Clean, very well equipped, magnificent location within walking distance of shops, coffees, eateries, supermarkets and so much more. Plenty of space for everyone, privacy of your own room and en suite. Excellent accommodation

Great house, very well equipped

Only suggestion is a step is needed from back deck out to back yard and for us more senior ppl the couches are very low to get out of. Everything else was spot on. Clean, tidy, comfortable beds, good heating

Great property, amazing location!

We had a great time at Carrington House. The property was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean. There was a steam room in one of the ensuites and a spa baths in a couple of the others. There was ample seating in the dining room and living room and outside. It was located a stone’s throw from the main shopping street and Coles. The location was perfect. It was perfect for my husbands 40th and we loved our stay. Thank you very much!
