  • Experience the epitome of coastal luxury at this breathtaking two-story waterfront beach house at The Anchored Lighthouse on Dauphin Island. Elevated to offer panoramic views, the property features a ramp leading to a back deck, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. The first floor boasts four bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, an open floor plan that includes a kitchen, dining room, and living room, as well as a dedicated laundry room. The second floor offers versatile sleeping arrangements with four twin beds and a full bed, complemented by a wet bar, a sitting area with a large TV, and two charming window nooks. The outdoor oasis, complete with a private and heated pool on the back deck, invites you to savor the coastal breeze, making this residence a haven for both relaxation and entertainment—a true gem for those seeking a refined coastal lifestyle on Dauphin Island.

    As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you! The pool is heated from October thru April.

    Pool Heating Note: Pool temperature can vary during cooler months, as the system relies on outdoor air temperatures. In colder conditions (around 50°F), heating may be less effective or temporarily unavailable (45°F and below), and it can take up to 24 hours to reach the desired temperature when weather allows.

    Please note the following:
    1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
    2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
    3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
    4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
    5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
    6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
    7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
    8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
    9. This home is NOT pet-friendly.

Everything about this home was great!! Perfect layout and tons of space for everyone to spread out! Located close to everything and great views! We will absolutely be back!

Great place

We enjoyed every minute! This place is great, very clean, and well stocked. If you’re like us, we like to stay in and cook after a long day in the sun and the kitchen had all the utensils and cookware we needed to make meals. There is plenty of beach stuff to use too! The beach and bay side were both so convenient and private. Loved seeing all the dolphins!

Thankful for Thanksgiving

We so enjoyed our stay! The house was perfect for all extended family to have plenty of room. Going to a rental property for Thanksgiving, you don't know how the kitchen will be stocked. This kitchen had everything we needed and then some for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. All I can say is WOW! everything was PERFECT!! Comfortable, spacious, clean - everything you need in a rental property to have a wonderful vacation!

Great location & Spacious Layout

We had a wonderful time and there was plenty of space and kitchen appliances for us to do breakfasts and dinners here. They also had a baby gate to block the stair opening! The only downfall is the heated pool was not working and the system had an error on it while we were staying which was one of the selling points to booking this house. But we enjoyed our stay regardless.

Family/Friend Trip

Amazing house. We all loved it. Was surprised and impressed with how stocked the kitchen was with being a new house. Loved the short walk to the beach. There were plenty of pool toys that we never got out the ones we had brought with us. Had a few beach chairs/toys. The grill was out of gas first couple of nights we were there and they replaced it quickly.

Great For Our Family

The house offered plenty of indoor space for our family and a lot of outdoor space. It was cold and clear when we were there so the beach was less of an attraction. But the area between the house and the Sound was fun for all kinds of ball sports. The volleyball net allowed for a few intense games among siblings. It was also great to stroll out to the end of the dock and enjoy the nice view. We only went to the Gulf side twice: once to the west end public park that was about a mile down the road, and once to the far eastern side of the island for a beautiful sunset. The heated pool was another highlight. The kids loved the opportunity to swim outdoors in January and it was warm enough for a few adults to go in. The bunk room upstairs is very spacious. Despite a range of ages, the kids in that room were happy. The four main bedrooms were especially nice and comfortable. Also, no problems with hot water, wifi, the TVs or the appliances. The kitchen included plenty of cookware and utensils and we were able to easily prepare several meals. We chose the house because it was one of the biggest properties available and we liked the low-slope ramp for our oldest family member. Also, we felt that the Sound-side location was better for us. Overall, it was an easy stay in a recently-built and beautiful house that was perfect for our family get-together.
