I’ll start with the positives of the house. The view is stunning with perfect beach access and location. That being said, the house itself needs a lot of work. There was a leaking window that was dripping water into an outlet on rainy days—this caused the breaker to switch. Upon investigating the smoke detector breaker had also been off. This is a huge fire hazard in itself—although the owner was quick to call an electrician and send someone out, not sure if the issue was corrected as it should be but it was corrected for the time being. The outside deck needs a lot of repair, there were many rotten spots that would dip down when stepped on. The pool heater was great when it worked continuously. The first couple of days it was hit or miss with the heater being on, the breaker for this also would kick off many times. The kitchen wasn’t stocked very well in my opinion. We had a large family staying and had to get creative when cooking some meals. The shower curtain in the master bathroom was moldy and needed to be charged. The downstairs A/C would continuously freeze up making it very hot and stuffy. There were no curtains/blinds on the downstairs windows which also made it difficult to cool the area. The water pressure upstairs was very weak making it aggravating to rinse your hair/etc. and lastly the house would rock. Someone could walk across the house and you could feel the house itself begin to rock. This made it unnerving to think the house itself was unstable.
