  • ¡Disfruta de las Playas de Dauphin Island mientras disfrutas de la comodidad en Island Fever! Esta enorme casa nueva, construida a medida, de 4000 pies cuadrados, se completó en mayo de 2016 y tiene seis habitaciones, cinco baños completos y capacidad para 16 personas. Además de las escaleras de entrada tradicionales, Island Fever está equipado con una entrada de rampa para la comodidad y el disfrute de los huéspedes con problemas de movilidad. Un baño completo con acceso para discapacitados, que incluye una ducha a ras de suelo, también forma parte de esta casa de hermoso diseño. Island Fever se encuentra en un gran lote frente al mar del Golfo en el extremo oeste de la isla y está adyacente a un pequeño permiso de propietario / área de estacionamiento público.     El primer piso de esta casa bien planificada tiene cuatro dormitorios y tres baños completos. La habitación King frente a la playa del sureste y la habitación King del noreste comparten un baño grande para discapacitados con inodoro y ducha a ras de suelo, junto con un lavamanos privado para cada habitación. La habitación King frente al mar del suroeste y las habitaciones King del noroeste tienen baños completos privados. Con una ubicación céntrica en el primer piso, se encuentra la gran sala espaciosa con una gran sala de estar, comedor, área de cocina y una gran cubierta delantera cubierta del Golfo y una terraza adicional de 200 pies cuadrados abierta en el nivel inferior con ducha al aire libre.
    El segundo piso de Island Fever cuenta con dos suites principales frente a King Gulf, cada una con su propio balcón cubierto con vista a la playa del Golfo y dos baños completos. También en el segundo piso hay una sala de juegos de bonificación ubicada en el centro, completa con 2 camas Murphy tamaño Queen, área de descanso, una mesa de billar de tamaño completo y otro televisor grande para la diversión familiar en interiores. Cada habitación y la sala de estar del primer piso también están equipadas con grandes televisores por cable (8 en total), conexión inalámbrica a Internet y todas las sábanas. Para su conveniencia, Island Fever tiene lavadoras / secadoras de tamaño completo ubicadas en ambos pisos de la casa. Check-in staff were super friendly. The house was perfect, and the views were awesome. The pool took a few days to heat up, but that's probably typical in the winter months.

Family/ friend reunion

We had 18 people in our group, and the house was fabulous for that. We were thrilled with how "beach front" it was, the rooms, bathrooms, how well stocked the kitchen was. However, the dishwasher didn't work and the dryer took literally 4 hrs to dry a load of clothes. Still a great place and location; we'd rent it again. Hopefully they'll get those issues fixed soon.

Wonderful Location

The location of this house is fantastic. You have your own section of the beach and the views are phenomenal. There is a public section of the beach right next door, but it was never too busy. Overall, the house is nice and worked well for our group. The only downfall was the pool heater stopped working while we were there and it took a bit of time to get it working again. However, it still wasn’t working at 100% when we left. The property managers were kind and did their best, but that was a bit of a bummer for our trip since the air temp wasn’t overly warm. The kitchen had some utensils, but we also had to pack a bunch of our things. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful Beach House

I traveled with my wife, her mom, my mom and our two children (4 and 5). We had a wonderful week overall. The location of this house is absolutely perfect. The house itself is spacious and attractive- we had plenty of room for our party and I could see two families staying here together comfortably. I do have a few suggestions that, as another reviewer said, could take this place from good to great. For the price we paid, I think these suggestions are reasonable: 1. It desperately needs a picnic table on the ocean-side deck. This was our 3rd time renting a house on the island and it’s the first time our house hasn’t had a table so we could eat outside together. 2. There needs to be a Roku connected to every tv. We had a family movie night and had to move a Roku from one tv to another. Then we had to move it back the next day. It’s annoying to spend time dealing with technology on vacation. 3. The towels were not white, as they should have been. Luckily, we brought our own towels, but I believe Boardwalk Realty should supply decently new-looking towels. I would stay here again because we had a fabulous week overall, but only if I couldn’t find another house with an outdoor table.

Great time on the island.

We wanted some place to get away for a few days and as always, DI fit the bill. This house was a great choice. A little big for just four of us, but we had a great time and will definitely rent this property again.

Perfect beach house

We loved the island and the house. It was so peaceful falling asleep to the sounds of the waves each night. We plan to return many more times.

A beautiful place

We had a really great time. The house was very large and we did not feel crowded at all. It was awesome being so close to the water! We all enjoyed our stay. I am handicapped and it was so nice to have the handicapped bathroom and the shower was great. Very thoughtful and I appreciated that. All in all it was great

Great Family Stay

Our family’s big group of aunts, uncles, and cousins had a great week at the house. The house is just as advertised. Having private bathrooms for all bedrooms is a big plus! The views from the deck are great. We’ll certainly consider booking the house and visiting Dauphin Island again.

Perfect location, perfect home!

Island Fever was absolutely perfect for our family! The house is in great condition, has top notch furnishings, lots of space and seating, plentiful linens, and the perfect location right on the water! The kitchen had more than enough plates, cups, and silverware for our group of 16. It also had all the pots, pans, cookie sheets, cake pans, mixing bowls, serving dishes, and cooking utensils we needed to cook meals for our large family. The wheelchair ramp and location were the winning factors for us. We wanted steps to the water, which we definitely got, and we needed the accessibility of the ramp for my dad who has to use canes or a walker. The porch and the balconies were great. A washer and dryer on each level was a stroke of genius! Many games of pool were enjoyed, and the Murphy beds were great for our teenage boys. The outdoor shower was a necessity, and there were even boogie boards for the kids to use. The only thing I would change is the window in the private bathroom of the bedroom on the front of the house on the main level because the "sister" house next door has a window looking right into the shower.

Stunning house right on the gulf.

This is a beautiful home right on the gulf with massive decks extending off the main floor and the two back bedrooms upstairs. Lots of incredible detail work throughout the home. Eight adults shared the house on a recent golf trip and space was more than adequate. (Would love to go back in warmer months to truly enjoy everything this property has to offer.)
