"We really loved our experience at Kato Waidi! The staff were so kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and the location was both peaceful (it’s right on the river!), as well as interesting (it’s right beside a Nubian craft market). Our only challenge was that the AC had a hard time cooling our room, but it was also 117 degrees so I think any AC would have struggled :)"

"This is hands down the best value in Aswan if you want the feel of a luxury hotel at a reasonable price. The rooms are not huge but extremely well designed and tastefully decorated. We booked a garden view but got upgraded to a river view room, which was great because the views of the Nile from this hotel are peaceful and gorgeous. We will always book a river view in the future.
