Great Community to Live, Work and Play
Located in the trendy Knox Districted area of Uptown Dallas

We are close to Downtown Dallas - the Arts District - Deep Ellum - Fair Park - the Science Center - Perot Science Museum – the West End District – the American Airlines Center - the Klyde Warren Park which is built over the Woodall Rodgers Freeway - George W. Bush Presidential Center and Library - Lower Greenville with all of its restaurants and nightclubs

Central Expressway (Hwy 75) is a few blocks away which provides easy access to the Dallas/Fort Worth highway system. Dallas also offers the Dart Rail Line; nearest station is Mockingbird and Central Expressway, approximately 1.5 miles away. The Dallas Dart Bus System has stops up and down McKinney Ave; there are stops at each end of the block from our building. Enterprise Rental Car is only a block north of the building. Of course, there are many different Uber drivers, Taxi Cab companies and there is an Airport Shuttle Service.

Owner too busy to own business

Space was very hot upon arrival with NO THERMOSTAT in room. Inquired about control of A/C ... owner replied “no thermostat available for your control; we only have 1 thermostat that controls entire building” Informed owner of unacceptable A/C settings... card left on our door with message “A/C is on” Informed owner again of unacceptable settings related to us getting little to no sleep the few days of our stay. Multiple requests to adjust thermostat settings with no response... temperature in room rose from 73-90 degrees Fahrenheit within 2-3 hours. Owner finally called stating “I’m too old to deal with this.” Notified owner pending VRBO notification... VRBO notified with resolution of finding additional accommodations paid by their company with agreement made with owner for $300 refund. Still awaiting refund from owner.

Just like Home!

I have stayed at this property several times over the past few years and have come to appreciate it's location, upkeep and management. This is a second home to me, and I wouldn't consider coming to Dallas Market without staying at home!

OK place, but

Difficulty with the TV called 2 different people and left messages about this,but no one returned call room was too cold and did not like having to put towels over the vents corkscrew was bent and unusable borrowed one from another guest

The place was immaculately clean! Had everything I needed. Walking distance to the trail, restaurants, coffee shops. I was here for a big board exam- this was the perfect place for me to stay and study prior to my test. It also catered to my foodie sense and love for coffee. Very glad I stayed here! Thank you!

Lovely, centrally located, quiet property!

I always try to book early enough to stay at this property while in Dallas. I have stayed in most of the apartments in this small complex. It is small with all the comforts of a home. Clean and very well maintained property in a lovely neighborhood are benefits that I truly appreciate. Everything from check in through check out is a breeze. Lots of things to do, grocery stores, drug stores, shopping and restaurants are just a couple of blocks away. Looking forward already to my next visit in January!

Great apartment convenience for short Dallas visits

Second time staying at this Knox Henderson apartment address. Rented Unit this trip. Very enjoyable to stay at this location and property. A great Home Away option for us.

Knox Henderson a great Dallas area!

This efficiency apartment is completely adequate, though the "kitchenette" lacks a few basic essentials (stove, oven, real sink). If you don't want to cook "at home," this would not be a problem. Since it was perfect weather during our stay, the lack of a thermostat was not a problem, but serious hot or cold weather could be a major problem for the individual units. Apparently the heat and a/c is centrally controlled for all units. The bathroom is old and small, but serviceable. However, if one is more than five feet tall, the shower head is woefully low. The location of the apartment, however, is superb. It's a lovely, lively, friendly neighborhood close to restaurants and shopping of all kinds. It was easy to drive everywhere we needed to go, usually without even getting on those crowded Dallas freeways. The host was friendly and accessible, responding to our inquiries in a timely manner. We would be pleased to stay in this same unit again in future.

Very happy with apartment!

I have stayed at this property several times and am always pleased. I enjoy the location and the ease of access. The apartments are always clean with all the bases covered as far as amenities you would want or need. The parking is also easy and convenient. The hosts are friendly and available if you need them. This is a quiet property.

Convenient, solid, assuming studio apartment

First, thank you very much for the stay a few weeks ago. I was in town for a week on business, got in late on a Sunday night and all of the information about the place and the access to the unit where very easy. The place is unassuming and worked well for what i needed. I would have like to have had a small stove but the other amenities (fridge, microwave, toaster, kitchenware, etc.) were just enough for what i needed. The location is very convenient. Just a quick note, that i think there might be a mouse,squirrel or other small animal living in the main wall that the fridge and tv are on. On more than one occasion during my stay i heard scratching and/or commotion in the wall. nothing that disrupted my stay in anyway, just and FYI. I will be back in town from Mar 19 - 25 and will look to see if this property is available during that time frame. Overall a very good stay.
