Volleyball tournament

Poorly cleaned, spa area is filthy. Ants all over counter upon arrival, host told us to go buy spray and traps, we’d be reimbursed. No instruction book for spa or WIFI, had to ask for info. Remotes missing from various tv’s, we still enjoyed our time with family but not at all what we anticipated. We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s across the country this was by far our worst experience. Disappointed for sure. Jason

Texas vacation 2025

House needs attention! Cleaning crews do the bare minimum. Electrical issues throughout, MANY lights do not work, sewer backup on main floor. Lawn not maintained upon arrival.

Perfect Size for Our Group

We had a group use this property while in town for a conference. It was great to have all of the private bedrooms as well as a common area to debrief their time at the conference. They also used the kitchen to prepare breakfast for several days. While the property was as listed, they were disappointed that it wasn't as clean as they would have expected. They had trouble with the door code when they arrived, but the property manager was able to give them a different code to use.

First flush your money down the drain

(Back story) My siblings and I meet up once a year and this year we decided to do it for our mother’s 60th birthday. There were 5 adults 7 kids from the age of 4 to 15.. I planned out an itinerary for my family. This kids live up north so where they come from it’s cold. They wanted a pool! And game room!! I booked just that. Making sure my nephews and nieces have a pool day Saturday and we do pictures Sunday and game night. Upon arrival property was not clean and nice as the listing looked. On the outside of garage there were boards with nails sticking out of them. One of the kids stepped on it after trying to get something out the car, the nail went through the shoe and was bleeding. The house was not clean. The bathrooms still had hair on the sink from other people. The pool was filthy when I reached out to HOST and let them know about my concerns the Host answered a few of the questions like the code to the front door and WiFi password but basically ignored the rest of the questions and didn’t do what they told me that they were gonna do like send the pool company over Saturday to clean the pool.

Interesting Property

The home is nice and in a nice neighborhood. There is some upkeep to the property that is needed. I had to fix the toilet seat as it was ready to slide off, there are no kitchen towels or dishrags to use. The coffee pot and machine had mold in it, yuck. the drawers are falling out of the cabinets. I would have someone get the hot tub ready for the guests arrival, rather then the guest having to call and be walked through the set up. The pool could not be used because it was so dirty. I've stayed at places that had maintenance man pop in daily to clean the pool, so the guests could use the pool if they liked. The beds and pillows could be updated for comfort. And every bedroom should have TV;s **Many VRBO homes have a "binder" with all the information and instructions for the guests is extremely helpful. This way ALL of the guests have the same information about the home, such as WiFi password, TV instructions and channel line ups etc. Also nice to have some local information, such as "Favorite eateries" and local "hot spots" or "must see" type of information for the area is always nice for visitors. The binder can have all the contact info needed etc. any and all of the instructions for the check in and check out information. I will say that the communication was quick when I did need assistance though People replied quickly when contacted. We enjoyed our visit to Tx all in all and the home was accommodating for the size of family we had to all be together.

Beautiful home - needs repairs

Setting & Location was wonderful - we were a little disappointed in maintenance of kitchen equipment- dishwasher never worked even tho they sent repairman who worked on it 2 hrs. Pretty poor quality utensils, pans, etc. Somewhat difficult to reach host.

The house was clean but several things needed to be upgraded. For example—family members were looking forward to the hot tub. It never got hot, only Luke warm. Dishwasher did not drain/clean properly. There were 10 adults in our group snd there was a total of 5 washcloths in the bathrooms

Great place to stay for a big family!

This is an interesting home. Other reviewers mentioned problems with the light over the hot tub; there is a GFCI outlet to the left of the tub that trips sometimes and if you reset it the lights work fine. The bubbler in the hot tub did not work but the pump did. There is a small electrical box on the wall outside toward the pool that has a switch that turns on the pump, which is also necessary for heat. The water was clear on arrival but the treatment tablets ran out and it got cloudy. We were able to reach the property owner who referred us to the hot tub tech but we figured it all out by the time they got back to us. We stayed 4 nights there and I'd do it again. It was a pretty cool place for a larger group. There were 9 in my family, and even at the price listed it was better than hotels for us, even more so since you can cook there rather than going out to eat.

Great family get away.

We really enjoyed the house but for a place that sleeps 12 (which was the number in our party) the kitchen could be stocked with better and bigger pots and pans. The largest frying pan help 3 eggs Or 4 pieces of bacon so it was extremely difficult to cook for our group. The baking sheets were also very small and we couldn’t use them without covering them with foil because the finish was so bad. I would put a little money into some pots, pans and bakeware. There were also no kitchen rags - just one sponge and one kitchen towel. The toilet on the main floor was loose from the wall and the yard could use some tending. There were no instructions for the hot tub or pool but the pool guy was able to help us out on the phone. We had some trouble with the lighting in the hot tub area on our second day and called but they were not going to send anyone out until the beginning of the week - we were leaving on Tuesday…. My son-in-law was able to get the lighting working for us thankfully. The beds were actually very comfy and the kids enjoyed the game room, pool and hot tub. Our focus was more on enjoying our time together and we had a great time but putting a little bit of $$$ into stocking the kitchen would make this hands down one of the best places we could ever stay.

Good place for a reunion

The house was just as described. The pool and hottub were working great. We did find several things either missing (outdoor cushions), damaged/failed (several lightbulbs, cabinet handles). Overall it was worth the price and a good stay for a large group. Comfortable and clean rooms. A small plumbing issue the manager replied to but wasn’t able to resolve which is understandable as it was a Sunday. I would stay here again as I’m sure the little things will be fixed in time.

Clean with issues

The house was clean but there were a couple of issues. Within the 1st hour, 2 of us had cut open our feet due to broken glass on pool deck and in pool. The hot tub didn’t work (no heat). The alarm system, apparently not hooked up was alarming our 1st night with no way to shut off. Person I called didn’t have anyone to send out so I had to figure out how to take off wall and disconnect the battery. When told the property manager about the glass at pool and no heat in hot tub, we basically got no response. We cleaned up the glass ourselves and wore shoes on the pool deck and just didn’t use the hot tub.

Texas getaway

Great location and plenty room for the the family. Upon arrival we discovered red ants in both upper bedrooms and bathroom. There were no cleaning supplies therefor i had to go purchase cleaning supplies. ( no big deal at the time) . Just wanted to enjoy family. Day by day we began noticing little things ( broken coffee pot, garbage piled in garage, finding hair and combs in patio area) among several other things. Small things add up, but the main issue was the pool. It was not clean and we were unable to enjoy it. When I reached out to the contact person they were very apologetic and would contact the property owner, and try to remedy these issues. Unfortunately I have not heard back from them. I stayed in this property for 6 nights. It was a beautiful home but for the amount of money spent for this stay I was a bit dissatisfied. Hopefully the host takes this in consideration for future guests.

My Nephews Graduation

This home was perfect for my family! We had family from Los Angeles and Atlanta and the house was perfect for all my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins to celebrate my nephew! Most of us had not seen each since covid, so to be able to connect with family and celebrate my nephew graduating was everything. We had plenty space and everyone enjoyed the pool and just being with each other for some true family time! Great neighborhood and house for families! Would definatlely book again!
