  • Elk Haven se encuentra en la serenidad de Black Hills junto con la vida salvaje local. Cada cabina tiene un dormitorio principal en la planta principal con cama queen. El piso de arriba tiene una gran área de loft abierta con un divisor de pared con una cama queen en cada lado para un total de 3 camas queen. Hay un baño en la planta principal junto con una cocina / sala de estar / comedor. Un total de 740 pies cuadrados componen cada cabina. Cada cabaña tiene su propia fogata, parrilla de barbacoa, terraza y mesas de picnic. Great place

This cabin was so centrally located to everything. Tucked away not far off the main road, but far enough that we were able to enjoy nature. Very relaxing and plenty of great hiking and lakes to enjoy.

Good experience!

We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future. Cabin was spacious, clean and if we forgot some thing, the cabin had it waiting for us to use it. Pet friendly was a bonus and will suggest it to others!

Just what we needed

Easy to find. Had everything we needed including 3 separate beds. Nice deck. Great view. Fire pit. We would definitely rent this again. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay

The cabin and the property were perfect. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with, and checked in with us often to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. My husband and I were visiting to ride our bicycles on the Mickelson trail with a group of friends who stayed in nearby hotels. They wished they had known about Elk Haven Cabins because they would have chosen the cabins instead of a hotel room! Thank you very much Kris and Beth. We hope to return!

vacation spot

The cabin was great but I found out at our age we need air conditioning. The fans did not do the job. On days when it was a bit cooler it was quite comfortable. The managers did a terrific job taking care of the cabin and the outside area. The surrounding area was beautiful and a nice distance from Custer. We saw young fawns almost every day. I appreciate the managers for their consideration of their guests.

Excellent location, excellent facility

Hubby and i stayed in cabin #1 at Elk Haven cabins for a week and found it to be comfortable and clean with all amenities needed. The only thing that would make it absolutely perfect would be laundry facilities, but that was such a small thing for us that it didn't detract at all. There were lots of brochures and info provided on things to see and do. The full kitchen was handy for making breakfast. We only used the downstairs bedroom, but that bed was comfy and we slept well. it was so quiet and There were so many stars at night, we actually found the Milky Way. we saw lots of deer and wild turkeys along the road, especially around dusk and early in the morning. It was just a lovely place to stay for all our activities.

Black Hills

Just outside the city of Custer, we were able to get in all Black Hills attractions. The property is centrally located in the Black Hills. Had great host, that made sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend a 4-6 day stay
