Westmorland Hotel Tebay
The accessible room needs to be made more accessible. Bed too high. Toilet too low. Shower too small for someone with mobility issues. Otherwise, it's a lovely hotel for a short stay.

Shap Wells Hotel
Stayed 1 night. Staff very pleasant. Area beautiful and did briefly see one of the famous red squirrels. Seems to cater mainly for coach trips but they were well organised with this and it wasn't that impactful on us. Main eating area felt like a canteen. Room was reasonably comfortable

Orton Hall, Royalist Suite
Overall the accommodation is looking tired, the photos don’t show the bathroom which is the room requiring the most attention. Wallpaper in the bedroom starting to come away at the skirting board in some places. The mattress is very soft, we prefer a firm mattress but that is personal choice.The ...
