Beautiful House Steps to the resort! Dog Friendly!

This charming home is located in Mt. Crested Butte and is a short 5-10 minute walk to world class skiing/mountain biking at Mt. Crested Butte Resort! Winter Ski shuttle pick-up to the resort picks up at the driveway! Access to back country hiking and bike trails minutes from the house.

If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will find it within 10-20 minutes of the house. This is a beautiful place to spend any season of the year.

Your stay will include all 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Please note that older reviews may mention the apartment being rented separately; however, starting this summer season, the entire home is exclusively yours.

The house is located on the steps to the resort area! It is overlooking the ski area and the Snowmass Wilderness. There are 2 living areas that are both open to the dining rooms and kitchens. Yes, there are 2 KITCHENS! There are a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a pull out couch in the upper living area. Enjoy the ambience of the home's serene views while relaxing with a night cap on the deck. There are also 2 sets of in-unit washer and dryer is available for guests, one upstairs, one downstairs. The owners have provided lots of games for entertainment or you can relax by the cozy gas fireplace after a day of activities.

Views from the deck overlook the ski resort and the Snowmass Wilderness. The deck is the perfect place to relax after a day in the mountains.

There is a ski locker to store gear at the bottom of the stairs next to the garage for guests to use as well as ski and board storage in the garage!

If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will find it within 10-20 minutes of the house. It is a great area to call your 'Base Camp'. This is a beautiful place to spend any season of the year. You will enjoy the flexibility of being able to explore all of the exciting areas in the heart of the Rockies by being in the center of all the activities. You will be able to enjoy a luxurious home but also the beauty that only a true mountain setting can offer.

You can find all of these activities within minutes of the home:

* FISHING...Fishing is everywhere in the valley! <20min
* Mt. Crested Butte Resort - ski, snowboard, ropes course, mountain biking etc ~5-10min
* Kebler Pass - Hiking, Mountain Biking, Fall colors, Aspen Grove
* Backcountry - Camping, off-roading, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, mountaineering etc.

Well behaved pets are welcome. Dogs only. No exotic pets.

There are 6 parking spots located on the property. This includes the option to park a vehicle in the garage if desired.

The access is easy and 4-wheel drive/AWD is not a necessity during the summer months but is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR VEHICLES NOT BEING ABLE TO REACH THE APARTMENT DUE TO SNOW. THE ROADS ARE COUNTY MAINTAINED AND NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY. IF YOUR VEHICLE IS NOT CAPABLE, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ASSIST. THE APARTMENT IS LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 10,000 FT ABOVE SEA LEVEL.

Excellent stay

This was a great place to stay for all we had planned for our extended weekend! The views from the deck are nice and the place was clean. The kitchen has all the utensils and cooking equipment we needed for our meals. We will stay here again in a heartbeat should the opportunity arise.

Great retreat in Crested Butte

We had a fantastic vacation in this super cute and clean apartment. It’s even cuter in person! The kitchen looks brand new. The main bedroom is lofted but huge! The view from the hot tub was amazing, especially at night if you like to stargaze. We would highly recommend this place. The hosts were so nice and very responsive.

Powpow!

Property was clean and cozy. Walkable to ski area (shuttle bus available, too). Well-appointed and hot tub was wonderful after long day of skiing. Conditions were elevated by fresh SNOW most of our visit. Will def be back.

Paradise in Crested Butte

The house was exactly as described and had everyone we needed. The location on the bus route was a bonus. Super easy to ski or get to town. Owners were super responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice apartment

We loved this small apartment. We had a party of 2 adults and 1 teen and 2 pups. Easy access to everything including town and outdoor activities. The views from The hot tub are amazing!!! We will be staying here again.

Great location and dog friendly

This comfortable apartment was the perfect location for our wildflower hikes up Gothic Road. The hot tub was just what we needed after a day of hiking and the deck had great views of the surrounding mountains. We knew we were in a dog-friendly home when the owners provided dog bowels. The description of the apartment did not mention that the spacious bathroom is not on the same level as the bedroom. It's highly recommended that you bring a couple night lights to safely get down the circular stairs in the dark. This would not keep us from returning again.

Lovely stay!

Had a wonderful, relaxing couple of days here. Location and views are exceptional and the condo is very clean and cozy. Residents pups are just the sweetest and the owners are kind and welcoming. Would stay again any time.

Nice but disappointing

The cabin was clean and good size. The owners were very responsive and helpful. My only complaints are, the listing didn’t make it clear it’s a shared home with the owners below us and the photos made the home seem more secluded when it’s not. The owners were not terribly loud, but we heard them more than we’d like to have being on vacation and for the cost. The photos made it appear stand alone but the neighbors are right on top of each other.

Lovely stay

The apartment is perfect, it was 2 of us and our 2 pups and it was spacious enough for us all to feel comfortable for a few days. They also have 2 very cute pups on the property so it was fun to let the dogs play. The owners are very friendly and around if you need anything. The place is very clean, comfortable, the hot tub is super clutch and you’re only minutes away from great food, great hikes and bike paths. Anytime we come back to Crested Butte we’d book this place again.

Beautiful location, very responsive hosts

We had an overall great experience here. CB is a gem of a town. The size of this condo was perfect for us. The views from the deck and the hot tub are amazing. The only negatives are that the light in the bedroom loft is very poor, not conducive for reading in bed at all, and that some of the kitchen facilities are dated and can use a bit of repair or uplift. However, the hosts very responsive to our needs and requests, and the location compensated well for the shortcomings.

Mike and Jodine were great hosts!!! Very responsive when we had questions but didn’t hover. The apartment was centrally located for all our activities, it was a quiet neighborhood and had all the amenities we were looking for. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Perfect for our honeymoon!

My husband and I stayed at this property for our honeymoon getaway and it was perfect! I was worried about privacy as we were right there with the owners but it was as if we had our own little cabin! The unit is well taken care of and check in and out was a breeze with the detailed instructions that were sent. And although Crested Butte is not quite as progressive as we thought and therefore, we probably won't return; we were very pleased with our stay in this rental.

Excellent stay at comfy apartment!

We loved our stay - it was clean, comfortable, and had all of the cooking supplies we needed for quiet dinners. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Very quick communication too!

Great stay

Location was awesome, right up the hill from the ski resort, and a short walk to the shuttle that takes you into town. The place was clean and cozy, but the view from the private hot tub is what sets this place apart.

Absolutely fantastic!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home in Crested Butte! The view from the hot tub was magnificent and it was the perfect distance from the ski resorts. The owners were so incredibly easy to communicate with and their two dogs were the best visitors we could have asked for. Highly recommend!!

Mountain Retreat

Great location and was pretty private and neighborhood super quiet and listing very accurate. We enjoyed playing with the dogs who met us every day to play frisbee and tug of war. Beautiful setting.

Great Property!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. My husband was so amazed and excited when we walked in the door. It was clean, private, and the hosts were super responsive with our questions. We loved sitting in the hot tub and staring at the stars after a long day. I highly recommend this place to stay!
