Killick Lane "The Cubby"

Killick Lane "The Cubby" is a cute three person apartment in the heart of Crescent Head, with only a two minute walk to the village shops and beach or across the golfcourse to the famous surfing point. Leave your car in your private parking space in Killick Lane and enjoy all that Creso has to offer as everything is in walking distance including shops, country club, golf course and point.
The Cubby is also a great space for couples working from home with the study having a large desk, lamp and space.
The Cubby has a enclosed front area with BBQ and suitable for dogs. The back also has a small enclosed garden area.

Crescent

Very old and outdated interior. Musty smell.Our accomdation was not as listed as the owner had changed the accomodation booked and we were not provided with an update. Original was "cubby" which was changed to the front apartment but we did not have the detail so walked around the property until we tried the locked box on the verandah. Furniture uncomfortable in lounge area, bed uncomfortable (hard). Carpet very old and stained.

Excellent location

Enjoyable stay. Very quaint accommodation. Although it is old and has low ceilings in part of the unit, it is very comfortable and spacious. Loved the 2 tvs and air con.

Cute little apartment beneath a house

We loved the proximity to the beach and commercial areas. The unit was small but tidy and functional. The hosts were very helpful when we initially had trouble access the keys.

Different

Disappointed with facilities - no hand basin (use the laundry tub). No vanity (use the top of the washing machine). Watch your head when you stand at the toilet or stand up after use. Many levels of floor with small steps and/or ramps - not very safe for anyone with even slight mobility problems. No real walls except around the area which is the laundry/bathroom/shower/toilet. May suit some people (a few).

Good location and within walking distance to everything. Needs a little update with furniture, bedding, cups, glasses and towels. Would have been nice to have a basket of fruit, tea bags, chocolates on arrival. Would be good to also include shampoo in the bathroom.
