Stunning, secluded location. Central to all the sights in south Tasmania. Tasteful, comfortable cottage with everything we needed. Beautiful fresh breakfast every morning. We enjoyed our privacy but Michelle was a beautiful helpful host if needed. Highly recommend

Beautiful property. The apartment was clean, spacious and well designed.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the rural property and surrounding district. Lovely sunny cottage garden as well. Very good amenities with queen bed, well equiped kitchen and spacious bathroom. Although we didn't get to meet Michelle, our hostess was always available via messaging. A very comfortable stay.

Michelle and Peter plus Zoe (the Dog) are so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Decor of the cottage is gorgeous facilities all you can think of. Was so wonderful waking up to a view of green paddocks with cattle grazing.

Clean, Tidy and cosy

This property is just right for two people, we were very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the beautiful views, the very well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and pretty local walks. Close to Cygnet and Huonville, the location is great.

Very Enjoyable

We have just had a very enjoyable stay in Michelles lovely apartment. A perfect place to stay to sightsee, chill in the small settlements along the river or close enough to Hobart for some city stuff. Thank you Michelle & Peter for dealing with a couple of our "townie" problems so promptly.

Peaceful retreat at the end of a busy day.

We spent a couple of weeks here in December, over Christmas and New Year. This was a lovely spot to come back to each evening after a day negotiating the winding roads of Tasmania. The Huon Valley is lovely although the only views you have from this cottage are from the bathroom window or in the carport. However, the little courtyard offered a relaxing spot to sit amongst the flowers, morning or evening. There are many walks in the area (Pelverata Falls and Snug Falls) and plenty to see and do within an hour or two drive. The Tahune Air Walk was definitely worth the drive. The cottage is well equipped although COVID has resulted in a very pared back pantry, but who wants to do too much cooking on holidays anyway? The addition of laundry facilities is a huge bonus and save hours sitting in a laundromat. Michelle is lovely to deal with and responds quickly to any request and will help in any way she can.

Fabulous host and views over the valley

The apartment was delightful with thoughtful touches everywhere. Easy to find off highway. Wonderful electric heater in sitting room. Hot water in shower and we were able to wash and dry our clothes after Michelle helped us with front loader. Michelle was a warm and engaging hostess who also provided a large compendium of information.

We fell in love with the cottage at first sight. Everything we needed was provided and more and Michelle and Peter were wonderful and friendly hosts. There is so much to do in the area that our four nights was almost not enough.

Rural Delight
