Cozy Arts Fest Suite: Ground Floor Beachfront

Part of The Moonflower Vacation Retreat, this one bedroom one bath apartment has A/C, a full kitchen, bar-top dining area, living room with flat screen television, large front porch with french door entry, and access to washer and dryer.

Guests also get FREE day passes to Placencia Beach Club for use of their pool.

There's not another property like this in Placencia. We've kept the two lots separating Moonflower from the sea vacant and without obstruction to provide a large, extended private beach. There is also parking- a rare commodity for sidewalk residences- should you choose to rent a car of golf cart, though you'll find everything you need within walking distance.
Guest access
This listing describes the northern-most of the two ground floor apartments of Moonflower, a vacation retreat in Hibiscus Beach. The apartment is fully self-contained and private, with one entrance/exit via a large sliding glass door on the porch. Guests have shared access to a utility room with washer & dryer.

Guests also get FREE day passes to Placencia Beach Club for use of their pool.
Other things to note.

Hibiscus Beach has 24/7 presence. Our groundskeepers keeps the beach free of seagrass and detritus and our security guards patrol the grounds at night. Our hospitality managers are available to answer any questions our guests may have about Hibiscus Beach or Placencia in general and can assist in booking tours and suggesting adventures.
Placencia has earned the moniker: "Barefoot Perfect." This describes not only the beaches and affinity of locals to forgo shoes, but also its laid-back lifestyle. Locals are charming, friendly, and extremely accommodating.

Very Nice Place.

The property is in an excellent location. Right on a beautiful beach. They have everything you need for going to the beach. Beach chairs, Cushions for the lounge chairs, beach towels. The unit is very clean and comfortable. All of the staff are very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Place In Placencia

Our first trip to Belize and we could not have been happier with the property. It was just as advertised. Right on the beach. Convenient for walking to restaurants and activities. Woke up each morning marveling at the view and sunrise. It had everything we needed and wanted. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Placencia.

Just Right!

This is a great property. Very convenient to everything. Casey was so easy to work with. We were lucky enough to be able to upgrade to the penthouse for most of our stay and I can recommend both the Moonflower Penthouse and the Moonflower North units. I love this place!

The pictures posted on HomeAway are wonderfully accurate. The owners and Joyce are terrific to work with. The private beach is big and beautiful. I can’t say enough!

A little piece of heaven

The accommodations at Hibiscus Beach were amazing. Everything you need to feel right at home. It was also an extremely convenient location- walking distance to everything! We recommend it highly.

Scenic relaxing beach get-away

Great location, walking distance to everything! The property was very clean, right on beautiful Hibiscus beach. The beach was so clean and well cared for, the beach chairs were relaxing after a busy day. My husband and I enjoyed walking on the beach, diving with Go Sea, rented bikes at Cobo’s across from the gas station, ate well, had a fabulous week!

Do Not Pass Up This Property!

My wife and I stayed from Feb. 1st - 11th. I started my research way back in April of 2018 and IMHO this is one of the best rental units in Placencia! I say that because my wife and I walked the beach from the airport to the pier everyday. The unit (the building is a fourplex) is located on the bottom right as you look at it from the beach. The pictures on VRBO show the unit exactly how it's laid out; it was very clean, updated and only 80 steps from patio to oceans edge! While we worked exclusively with Casey on the arrangements, when we arrived both he and the property manager happened to be on vacation. His Mom and Dad however met us when the taxi (which they arranged for both our arrival and departure) dropped us off and they both could not have been nicer or more helpful with instructions on the unit, where to eat, where to go for groceries etc. We also met two young men (Hymie and Harrison) who worked very hard to keep the beach and property clean. While on the beach, they even brought my wife I fresh coconuts on several occasions. There was also a night watchman whose name I did not get, but he was also very nice. Collectively, their attention and hard work made our trip very relaxing. Speaking of nice, the people of Placencia are some of the nicest people we have ever met. Funny, engaging and helpful we did not meet one single rude Belizean. In fact the only rude people we interacted with were other Americans...go figure. If you rent from Casey, he will probably send you a welcome email......read it! It has great information on day trips and guides. We used Eric Foreman, a private fishing guide, for a half day fishing trip and Jason, owner of Truly Wild Belize (check out Trip Advisor) for a day trip which took us to a chocolate farm, zip lining, lunch and finally a swim at a jungle waterfall which was ICE COLD...very refreshing after a long hot day! In conclusion, as a guy who is an over-the-top planner (I'm a Fire Chief) I know there is a certain nervousness that comes with scoping out potential property for vacation. Trust me when I say you can not go wrong renting from Casey. The unit is perfectly located on the Belize sidewalk, (it's a thing, Google it!) and literally everything you need is within walking distance, from gelato to a pharmacy. Restaurant wise check out DeTatch, Ricks Cafe, Cha Chi's, Barefoot, and all street vendors! I'll end with this. When we head back to Placencia, we will only rent from Casey!

Lovely!

The two grounds keepers worked hard to keep the property looking nice and the beach clean. Joyce was very kind and helpful. And the condo was just perfect for the two of us. All in all and lovely vacation!

Perfect Getaway Location

The condo looks brand new, very clean. The location is perfect, one person walked by us one day and said we had the best location in Placencia. Close to everything but away enough to be private. Joyce and Casey could not have been better hosts. We will absolutely be back and would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Quiet, Relaxing, Beautiful

Perfect location on the beach and close to everything we needed. Quiet and peaceful. Condo has everything you need and is very comfortable and clean. Property manager Cindy is incredibly helpful. Groundskeeper Wilson was very friendly and informative about the local area. Very nice young man. We would definitely return.

Ideal place in Placencia

Just returned from a weeklong vacation in Placencia and it was a wonderful trip. This is the place to stay if you are going to Placencia. First of all, Cindy was a wonderful help during our planning process. She answered questions about excuriosn, currency, local and attractions. She helped us get an excurison set up that was beyond our expectations and arranged to have a taxi waiting for us when we arrived at the airport in Placencia. Her availability and assistance helped to make the trip go smoothly. The VRBO is exactly like the pics! The beach is right there and the view to the ocean is amazing. It has all the amenities you could want. It is also a perfect location in town and so walkable. A couple good restaurants less than 5 min walk in beach and the rest of the town accessible with short walk. Can't recommend enough!

Perfect place to stay in placencia

We loved the location of this condo, at the end of the sidewalk, and so close to everything in town. The condo was so nice. Everything was new and clean and we felt right at home! The property manager Cindy was great - very helpful to us as we visited Placencia for the first time. We have been coming to Belize for 10+ years, but this was our first time to Placencia - we will be back for sure! Thanks!
