Cozy and quaint pet friendly cabin

This little charmer is your next home away from home, located 2 miles from the historic district of Georgetown north of the lake with easy access to I-70. This quaint cabin offers a full kitchen excluding a dish washer, one bedroom with a king bed, one bathroom with a stackable washer and dryer and living room equipped with an electric fireplace, t.v, wi-fi, dvd player and a sleeper sofa. There is an outdoor shed to store any equipment and two parking spaces right by the back door. We welcome pets and have a designated fenced in area to roam safely. Come and enjoy a nice view from the patio with a dog gate to keep pets safe and from roaming off and completed with a gas grill and a gas fire pit. This cozy and quaint cabin is centrally located to many mountain ammentities and activites that your heart may desire. Come and enjoy all the four seasons.... This cabin would be a perfect fit for 2 adults. We would recommend 2 but can accommodate up to 4. If your wanting a quick get away or traveling from a far, our cozy cabin is awaiting.

Clean cabin, kitchen has all you need to cook for days! Just don't forget to bring your favorite food! But if you forgot a spice, there's a few to choose from. Our dogs loved the yard and gated deck to chill on!Natalie was great to work, all communications and instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Natalie was incredibly helpful throughout this process. She responded immediately when I had a question upon arriving. This was a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. The fenced yard was fantastic for the two dogs we traveled with. It's a great place to base out of in the Georgetown area and a wonderfully cozy place to relax.

We loved this little cozy cabin! It was perfect for my husband and I, plus our dog. The fenced in yard plus fenced front porch made it easy to let our dog roam a bit without being on a lease. The cabin itself was nicely decorated & comfortable. Since we love being outside, the only downside for us was the noise from the highway. Still that won’t keep us from returning!

The Yellow Cottage is fabulous! Close to downtown, clean, cozy and well stocked. Great fenced backyard makes it a wonderful place to bring your pups. We have been staying here for years, and Cloudcroft has some quite good very casual dining these days. Ricardo, the host, is absolutely unsurpassed.

Very quiet and beautiful location. the house was very comfortable and loved the fenced in yard!! the only thing keeping this from a solid five was the driveway. we trailered motorcycles and there is no room for all our stuff. this one is on me for not checking specifically on the amount of parking space.

Beautiful location and cozy space! We appreciated how pet friendly the property was. The views were gorgeous, and we were close to many beautiful destinations, including Georgetown Lake and Guanella Pass. I found the pillows in the bedroom thin and the pillowcases a bit scratchy, but I believe that comes down to personal preference. I would definitely stay here again and just bring my own pillow. Thanks to the hosts for great communication and a wonderful stay.

What a wonderful, cozy little cabin! There is a lake right down the road and it isn’t that far from Denver! Very well maintained, clean and has all of the necessary items to cook with, which is a major bonus! Love this place and will return if I am ever back in the area!

Colorado Cabin with Easy Access to the Mountains

The location of this cabin was superb -- we were close to Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Guanella Pass, Mount Blue Sky, and several historic sites (Argo Mill, Phoenix Mill, Georgetown Railroad, etc.). The cabin is cozy and had all the amenities needed.The cabin doesn't have air conditioning, so it did get a bit warm on a couple days, but we simply opened the front and back doors to draw air through the space to cool it down. And, the deck is well shaded in the afternoon so we ate our meals out there (the temps felt great outdoors, especially because of Colorado's super low humidity). The cabin has two small fans that you can move from room to room. If I were to add anything to the space, it would be a larger fan (tall floor unit) to help circulate air on really hot summer days.

Property exactly as described. King size bed in bedroom takes up entire room with no room for a table for CPAP. Fortunately it was still able to be used being on the floor. Pots and pans could use an upgrade. Communication with owner was great. Overall, great place to stay for 2 people.

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs, and the location made it easy to explore nearby Georgetown—just a quick drive away. A great spot for a relaxing mountain getaway!

Great pet friendly option, quiet location

This cabin was pretty much as you see in the pictures and description. I would call it rustic with some modern touches. It was a great getaway trip that made it very convenient for having our dog with us.Perks: Having a fenced area made potty trips and outdoor time very easy. It was even quieter than we expected. It is further from the interstate than a lot of places in these narrow mountain towns, and the road going by the cabin was not heavily traveled. The cabin was very clean, and the little touches like dog biscuits, movies and games were nice to have. The electric fireplace was nice too. We appreciate the clear signage for tips and rules. It makes it easier to use everything and to be good visitors.Some items to know: The fenced area grass is pretty sparse, so if it is rainy or has snowmelt happening, it will likely be muddy. They provide lots of towels for wiping doggie feet though. The driveway is a bit narrow and curved, so it's best for confident drivers. And unless you have small vehicles like we do, you'll probably end up double parking if you have two cars. Not a big deal, but worth noting.We recommend this cabin and plan to stay again in the future.
