  • This is a beautiful

    Located in the heart of Cowes, it is just a short 2 minutes stroll to the shops and a pleasant 10 walk to Phillip's Island main foreshore beach. This is a large spacious and very modern holiday home that is situation in a great location. The home is beautifully presented with all new furniture fittings, appliances and bedding.

    Walking through the front door the home boasts beautiful polished boards throughout the home there is ducted heating and cooling throughout the house.

    The home features two separate living areas with 2 kitchens one on each level. This is great for multiple families. Both kitchens are fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, and stone benches, microwaves and fridges

    Downstairs features a large master bedroom with a queens size bed, a walkin robe with a full ensuite.

    A great feature of the property is that there is a theater room with a 120inch projector screen with full stereo surround sound and High Definition Projector. This is also a range of DVDs and Bluray titles available via a media player which is provided. In addition there are 2 other large plasma tvs available.

    Also separate dining areas and another open family area which consists of a large plasma TV.

    Upstairs is the main living area it is open plan with leather sofas, and a large 55inch plasmas TV which is wall mounted. There is a large glass sliding door which opens out to an outside decking area.

    This is main kitchen is very spacious and again features all with stainless still appliances, an island bench with 4 stools. There is a large stainless steel fridge with water cooling and ice maker, and stainless steel dishwasher, perfect for entertainment.

    The dinning area features a very large designer dinning table with 10 chairs.
    There are 4 bedrooms upstairs bedrooms upstairs one is another master bedroom again featuring a full walkin robe area and a large ensuite. Also has a large glass siding door which opens out to the upstairs decking area with outdoor furniture and a barbeque.

    Laundry is spacious with stone bench and a brand new washing machine availalble.

Disappointed with Property conditions

- the projector mentioned in advertisement was not working and broken most of the cables. Kids has nothing to watch. I sent message to the owner but did not received any reply until today. - No fly screen through out the property mean cannot open the windows. - house was not clean and cobwebs were everywhere in all bedrooms and bathrooms. we spend at least 2 hours to clean the cobwebs in all areas (including vacuum).

Big house perfect for large groups in a super convenient location!!

Awesome house to stay in, super spacious with big bedrooms, two kitchens & heaps of communal areas to enjoy! Great for big groups, super close to the main street of Cowes and the beach. Very accommodating, helpful hosts who were very easy to contact and super considerate of all covid restrictions etc. We all enjoyed our week a lot and would definitely stay again or recommend to others!! Thanks so much! :)

Lots of space and close to shops

Lots of space, great for a large group of people. Missing the little things though- like toilet paper! Would have been nice to know that we needed this and other things like dishwashing liquid before we arrived. The theatre system also didn't work which was disappointing and the owner didn't know how to operate it. Convenient to shops, beach etc.

Excellent property for big families

We were 4 families with young kids, everyone enjoyed the stay. It's 5 bedroom ± theatre with a very big backyard. Walking distance to shops and close to beach. The house is also new and there are 2 kitchens ground & level one. As per the pictures we saw on homeaway the house better and exceeded our expectations. Thank you Ha for your lovely property as we really enjoyed our trip to Phillip Island. Theatre room was tricking as it was not user friendly to figure out how to use it but we never called Ha for any help as we want to be more outdoors than indoors. Guest who wants to use theatre I will recommend to take owners help. Anyways Ha thanks for your hospitality and we will be visiting in future for sure. Thanks Lakhvinder

We loved it!

This place was perfect for our large family! We all got to cook together and spend time playing games, watching movies etc and also have time apart when we needed it. It was close enough to the main shopping strip and Cowes pier yet far enough to not have all the associated traffic. Large backyard, plenty of TVs, large open spaces on both floors and two kitchens! The theatre room was a hit with the kids playing games and the parents watching movies. My family is looking forward to coming back, thank you!

Do NOT stay here!!!

From the moment we arrived to a badly-neglected front yard with waist-high weeds, we started to think we had made a mistake in choosing to spend our holiday here. The windows were very dirty and had obviously not been cleaned in a long time, and the yard had also not been maintained in ages. Upon entering the house we were greeted with filthy bed linen which had appalling stains, including a pillow and mattress protector which looked like someone with gastro had been using it. In the kitchen every cabinet door and door handle was sticky. We found old food in the fridge, dirty dishes in the cupboard and a grease-covered roasting tray in the pantry. The view from the rear balcony was a junk yard which is not an ideal view, but given the state of the outdoor furniture it's really not a place one would want to sit anyway. There were numerous broken and damaged items in the house. The DVD player would not work with the projector screen - even with an IT specialist and an engineer amongst us trying to establish a connection between the two. This rendered the projector room useless. We have travelled extensively all over the world and recently completed a trip across Australia. In all our travels, we have NEVER come across a place as badly maintained as this one. The photos on the Stayz website are very misleading. We took numerous photos of the appalling state of this house. It is a pity that we cannot post them on this review. So do yourselves a favour. Stay well away from this place. It's just not worth it!
