Relaxing

This was a perfect spot for us and our pups. The owners are very kind and the apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is away from it all but within 10-minutes downtown Cortez is there to provide any needed supplies. This home was a terrific basecamp allowing us to set off on day trips to Mesa Verde, Telluride and Hovenweep.

Bunny’s Bunkhouse

This was perfect for us. It was quiet & had everything we needed to cook our own meals & relax after a long sight seeing day. My favorite spot was on the patio with a morning coffee! Bunny was a perfect host. We would come back.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great place to relax after a busy day exploring. Check-in was so easy and we were able to check in early. Everything was clean and comfortable. We got just a peek at life on a working ranch, there was always something going on but they were never too busy to answer a question or visit for a while. We were close to town for restaurants and fun but far enough out to enjoy the peace and beauty. I’d stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway in Cortez

This was a fantastic place to stay in Cortez. It had the amenities to accommodate a family of 5. Great location for easy drives to Mesa Verde, Durango and Four Corners National Monument. It was peaceful and we enjoyed watching the sheep.

Beautiful, peaceful stay

Bunny's Bunkhouse is a little piece of heaven! Had a wonderful stay. The property has everything you need for a great stay. Loved visiting with the sheep! Would have LOVED to get to meet the horses! The grill, firepit and millions of stars made for one beautiful evening. Easy drive to Cortez, and even Durango.

We enjoyed our stay at Bunny's Bunkhouse.

Bunny is a pleasant host and easy to communicate with. The check in/check out process was a breeze. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is nice, modern, and comfortable. I would have loved to have an oven, but we made the kitchenette work. The farm with snow capped mountains in the background was a beautiful site to wake up to every day. Bunny's Bunkhouse is perfectly situated between everything we wanted to do on our trip - less than 20 minutes to Mesa Verde National Park, about 50 minutes to Durango, 50 minutes to Four Corners National Monument, 1 1/2 hours to Telluride, and 2 hours to Moab, Utah. It was a very pleasant stay.

Great stay!

We loved the quiet, dark, comfy & clean stay. We especially loved the roomy bathroom and the outside seating with gorgeous view. The bunkhouse was more spacious feeling than the pictures indicate. Host was helpful and kind.

Awesome Stay

Probably the best stay we’ve ever experienced in a vacation rental! The apartment was clean and cozy with everything we needed to feel right at home. The ranch setting is beautiful with mountains in the background and with cattle and sheep peacefully grazing. I also enjoyed visiting with our sweet hosts!

This little apartment under the main farm house is quiet and is nicely furnished. It was great seeing and hearing the animals, both domestic (cows and sheep) and wild (turkeys, marmots, Canada geese). The inside is quiet with windows that look onto the field. The front deck area is spacious for sitting out and watching the sun set.

Loved the king bed in a dark bedroom. Extra bed and sofas are a bonus for more family. Modern, roomy bathroom. The kitchen is new and just as presented, but small and a bit difficult to cook and clean-up a large meal. Appreciate dog-friendly. Rural setting gives view of sheep and cows, mountains . Weather was too cold to enjoy the fire pit or patio. Owners are nice folks.

Great views and great location for access to sights of southwest CO. Ideal location for a few friends and a dog. Beautiful space if you appreciate the continuing legacy of ranching and agricultural. Wonderful way to wake up and to end the day 😊

Great place to stay for SW Colorado vacation.

This place was awesome. The location is beautiful and conveniently located. My family and I, including my wife, daughter, 7 m/o son, mother and our Aussie had a great time here. Everything was easy and convenient. No complaints. We definitely plan on coming back in the future.

Relaxing with an amazing view

This place had an amazing view and all of the amenities that we needed. It also gave us easy access to all of the sites that had brought us to the region. The owners were helpful and friendly while also respecting our privacy. As noted in the description, this is the lower level of a house, so be prepared to tune out some upstairs noise and foot traffic.

Such a beautiful spot

Bunny was a great host and this location was beautiful. We had such an amazing view to wake up to and often sat outside and soaked it all up. We were comfortable and were able to relax. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again.

Beyond Wonderful!

Staying on the McComb property was one of those rare instances that exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Bunny greeted us in the front yard. The property was divine. If you are looking for a rural stay with good proximity to town, this is it! Views are astounding and guests can appreciate them abundantly with the outside seating area. Spacious interior and perfect for our group. Fave place we stayed in our trip. Thank you, Bunny. Just hope we can return some day.

Awesome farm location

This is a perfect place to stay if Cortez is your destination! Hoping it would be as great as the photos it did not disappoint. Very relaxing and loved the sheep in the mornings. Beautiful working farm and the hosts were great!
