Modern luxury and style abound at this palatial Palmilla Beach retreat. Boasting all-new construction and design, this spacious escape features waterfront views of Sunset Pond and direct boardwalk beach access right from the community. During your stay, enjoy complimentary on-site access to the community's resort-style pool or enjoy a few rounds at Palmilla Beach Golf Club.

Enjoy access to incredible amenities, including two elegant resort-style pools that are heated during our winter season. A designated area at the beach with food services and air-conditioned bathrooms. During the summer, poolside cabanas, golf carts, beach chairs, and umbrellas are available to rent via Guest Services.

An open layout, ample windows, and lofty cathedral ceilings create a bright and inviting ambiance for group gatherings in the great room. A massive sectional and smart TV set the scene for casual downtime, while a dry bar equipped with a wine cooler and mini fridge are ready to mix up some pre-meal entertainment. Spark gourmet inspiration in the stainless steel chef's kitchen and take care of cleanup with ease using the automatic dishwasher. Furnished decks on either side of the home offer plenty of opportunity for outdoor living. A gas grill is also provided for Texas-style barbecues. Additional home essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is currently major construction occurring on new homes in the area. No current homes or amenities will be affected, though construction equipment may be visible and views may be obstructed in some areas. Construction has been scheduled during certain times of the day to minimize noise and potential disturbances to guests. The work is scheduled to conclude in the next year.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great Rental Home in Port Aransas! Highly Recommended!

Great location and very comfortable house. We would stay here again on any future visits. The Beach resort also provides great amenities.

Wonderful home for large families!

Our children and grandchildren came with us and we had wonderful bedrooms for everyone to stay in and plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. We loved the master bedroom which had a separate ice maker and small refrigerator so we could enjoy our coffee first thing in the morning without waking anyone. We would definitely stay here again!$

This is an amazing home and was perfect for 12 of us to stay in. We loved the whole house but we especially enjoyed the master bedroom which had its own kitchen and fridge. We could make coffee early without waking anyone else.

FANTASTIC!!!

This was a FANTASTIC home for our family reunion. Beautiful views, well stocked kitchen, bathrooms were updated and beautiful with supplies, bedrooms were comfortable & spacious, functional elevator, plenty of TVs & sound system in living room, convenient parking, extra towels for beach & pools, beautiful pools & golf course & nice workout facility near by. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend this beautiful home.

This brand new, beautifully decorated beach house in Palmilla Resort far exceeded our expectations. Rooms are ample in size with quality linens, kitchen is expansive and well supplied with professional cookware and appliances, elevator is great for bringing in luggage or for when stairs might be a problem plus the balconies have beautiful views…all which make this property ideal for an exceptional beach vacation! Also, the golfers in our family thoroughly enjoyed the course! Would absolutely love to stay here again!

Port Aransas Family Trip

We rented this home for our 3 families with children 5 and under and had a wonderful time! The weather was rainy so we spent quite some time in the house and it was clean and spacious. It also had baby gates at the bottom and top of stairs which was great for our toddlers. It also had Sonos throughout which was a nice bonus. We would definitely rent this house again in the future!

The fabulous Cattail Castle

Our family of nine had a wonderful time in Port Aransas and our accommodations at The Cattail Castle made it perfect. So many amenities in this beautiful extremely clean home. We had a king bed for everyone of our three adult couples, every bedroom has its own private full bathroom. Really appreciated having the two kitchen sinks, two dishwashers, two ice machines and a utility room on two floors. Probably the best was having an elevator to get our groceries and luggage upstairs. We loved our stay in this beautiful home and can’t wait to come back.

Perfection!!!

The home at 128 Cattail is simply perfection. We were blown away by the design, furnishings, and comfort of the home. We felt like we could simply move in! The views at this lovely estate are amazing, with decks off of most rooms, you are able to have your own private space to relax and enjoy the ocean’s breeze. The kitchen is a chefs dream….all the amenities of a personal home and MORE! The beds are super comfy, linens are just right, and wonderful spaces for kids to bunk. It is a short walk through the beautiful neighborhood to the boardwalk where the beaches are located. We enjoyed the larger-sized heated pool. It was wonderful for parents and children alike. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy this beautiful vacation destination on Port A’s beach!

Okay…were issues

Nice property, but very problematic elevator. If you have people with medical issues requiring this elevator, be leery. We got stuck in this elevator no less than 5x - traumatizing for sure. There is one blowdryer in the entire house and zero paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags etc. outside of what is on counter/in containers. For the amount of money spent, this house was disappointing to say the least. Nice house, neutral stay.

Beach Dream

The Cattail Castle is amazing. Ample parking. The kids bunk room is perfect. Washer & Dryer on every floor. Card & game table on the 1st floor. Don't worry about the kitchen, dining and living room being on the 3rd floor because there is an elevator. Worked perfect. Kitchen has everything. 2 ice makers. You will never run out of ice. Outside shower to wash off from the beach. But honestly, stop by the pools (They have showers too) to relax before returning to the house. The AC worked great. Each bedroom had everything. The description of the home doesn't even do this property justice. We have stayed at 3 locations at Palmilla Beach Resort and this is the best. I can't even list all the extras that come with this property. We rented golf carts for convenience. The beach is a longer walk but doable. The outdoor sitting areas are fabulous. One on the east side facing the sunrise and the other on the west. A clear view of the beach. Thank you to the homeowners for building such an amazing home. You thought of everything.
