Welcome to A Lil' Reia Sunshine!
Book now and rent this amazing 3,000 sq. ft. vacation home located in the serene Whalehead Beach community. Charming and spacious, this tranquil getaway is just a short walk to the beach. It's an open 6 bedroom 3 bath, with plenty of natural sunlight and can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests.

GROUND LEVEL:
Includes a game room equipped with an arcade machine, ping-pong table, and foosball table. New washer and dryer are also located on the ground floor. Outdoors, the property includes a basketball court, beach volleyball court, charcoal grill, two picnic tables, an outdoor shower and two car ports.

MAIN LEVEL:
Includes an open family room with 70" Smart TV, eat-in kitchen with plenty of counter space, two dining tables, two sinks, 4 bedrooms each with their own 50" Smart TV; 1 Master bedroom with king size bed and access to the wrap around deck, 3 bedrooms with queen size beds (2 of these bedrooms also have access to wrap around deck). 2 full bathrooms are also located on the main level.

TOP LEVEL:
Open loft with a large bedroom including a 40” Smart TV. 4 sets of bunk beds (6 twin & 2 full) perfect for sleeping up to 10 children or young adults (top bunks are rated for a maximum of 200 lbs). Nook room with private exit to sun deck and narrow twin bed is also located on top level and is ideal for an older child or teen (there is no TV in the nook room). There is also one full bathroom located in loft between the bedroom and nook room. The top level also has access to sun bathing deck to enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset.

Everything was just like the listing read. The host was very friendly, and easy to deal with. Close proximity to local beaches as well as wild horse sitings. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that the hottub was out of seaso .

We was needing a little getaway and this was absolutely perfect. Didn’t have the hustle and noise. Everything we needed was nearby. Definitely will come back and even longer next year.

Disappointed

While the owners advised that no paper products are supplied, they should also let people know about other things not provided. The was 1 wash cloth, no laundry soap, no trash bags, no food storage container or zip lock bags, no salt and pepper. As for the house itself it was in need of help. Several of the screen doors were missing on the sliding doors. Deck rails were in poor shape (rotten wood). The 2 outside lounge chairs cushions were dry rotted and unusable. There were no instructions how to access the tv apps. Bikes provided were unusable, flat tires mostly. Overall, we were disappointed in this house

Perfect location, plenty of room.

We loved the location of this property, close to the beach and close to restaurants, stores and to many different activities. Quick response from the host when we contacted them for anything. There were only seven of us so we had more than enough room for everyone to spread out and have their own space.

Spring Break 2024

My family and I enjoyed this amazing home. Super comfortable beds, loved having a TV in every room, and the large open space was great for family time. Quick short walk to the beach which is so private and peaceful, true paradise!!!!! We’d definitely stay here again!

Destination Family Reunion

Our family had not gathered for our reunion since 2019. We decided to try a destination reunion for a week this time to reconnect after the pandemic. Family came from Atlanta, Charlotte , Maryland , Arizona , Virginia Beach ,Richmond and Hampton. We had an awesome time with a great cookout in the back yard and those that stayed at the house enjoyed spending time together , cooking meals and relaxing. In the porches , in the hot tub and playing games . I would highly recommend this property

Cabin at the beach

6 adults and 8 kids, perfect space for all of us! The kids enjoyed the rec room and games. And all the adults enjoyed the open floor area of the kitchen, dining, and family room. I can’t speak for the other beds personally, though I was told everyone slept comfortably, but I will say that the master bedroom king bed was absolutely comfortable, and things like that are extremely important to us when we go away from our own bed and we were so grateful for the rest we were able to have especially after keeping up with the kids all day. I’m not sure that it’s even 150 yards to the beach. It is a very easy walk, that also was really awesome. You’re also only a few minutes away from many other attractions and grocery stores. When we find ourselves back in Corolla in the near future, we will definitely be at this home again and would recommend it to anyone especially large groups. also, I’m kind of a tech person and this is worth passing along to future renters, the high-speed Internet at the house is really good from spectrum cable I measured the Wi-Fi speed at over 350 Mb downloads which should easily support large groups in the house and any Wi-Fi needs, no one had any issues with that at all. The wraparound decks are also really amazing for just being able to navigate from the front to the rear house if you were wanting to hang out and overlook the backyard while the kids are playing. Every door you stuff out of you could walk around the entire house on the deck and back into another door. Really nice! I think it is also worth noting that the room with all the bunkbeds is obviously for all the kids and we had two different families worth of kids, and all of them enjoyed hanging out and the Bedroom with the bunkbeds it was kind of a kid club house feel, which gave the kids a sense of a getaway of their own as well. The overall feel inside of the home with its decorations was very homey, feeling and welcoming nothing unusual or loud..

Great place for large family!

There were 17 of us staying and we had plenty of space! There was tons of activities at the house, spacious area, short walk to the beach and the owners were very responsive! There were 5 bikes at the house which was an added bonus! If you have a large family or a large party this is a great place and great location!

Perfect for Family Get-together

Located just a short walk to the beach, this home was perfect for our extended family reunion. The big open family room was great for eating and lounging around after our days’ activities and then we all had our “space” when needed! The downstairs ping-pong and PAC-man were a big hit too. Beds were comfortable and the owners were so quick and helpful when we had questions. Close to so many activities that we chose to do—wild horse tour, kayaking, jet-skiing, and of course the beach!
