Welcome to Shoes on the Beach at Beacon Villas by KEES Vacations!

The first level of this gracious 4-bedroom vacation property is all about fun! Enter through the two-car carport and you're right in the den. This area boasts a seating group with a flat-screen HDTV, a foosball table for hours of friendly competition, and a wet bar with a full-size refrigerator. Perfect for storing movie snacks! The bedroom on the ground level features a Queen-sized bed and a full hall bath. A soothing hot tub is located on the screened porch. Enjoy the cool evening breezes as you let the jets work out any stress left in your body.

The second level is a great room decorated with rustic hardwood floors and distressed tables, lovely coordinating furniture, and bright, fun pops of coastal colors. It is a classy, inviting space in which you will love to spend time in with your friends and family. Tall ceilings convey a large and airy feel.

An ample kitchen, with a lovely wood ceiling detail, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tile backsplash, and pendant lighting awaits the family chef. He or she will plenty of room and everything needed to create a memorable meal. Two spacious King En Suites feature lovely, distressed bedroom sets, flat-screen HDTVs, and large showers with rainhead fixtures.

The third level is the Suite that you all may just fight over! With ultimate privacy, this huge space with 2 Queen beds features a built-in window seat, perfect for catching up on your reading or just a quiet moment of reflection, as well as a lovely En Suite full bath.

As part of the prestigious Corolla Light community, your rental includes all the amenities available at the resort. Of course, the wide Corolla beaches are always one of the highlights of any trip to the Outer Banks. And the resort makes it easy to get there with trolley service throughout the entire community! Though it's hard to top Mother Nature, Corolla Light sure tries! Visit the oceanfront pool complex, where you'll enjoy basketball, volleyball and shuffleboard courts, horseshoes, a putting green, and playground equipment. **Guests must pick up wristbands for access to amenities at the Corolla Light Sportsplex.**

The quieter sound side holds a few surprises, too. Take a walk or a bike ride along the mile-plus-long soundfront nature trail or hang out at the soundside pool. There's no need to give up your fitness routine while on vacation. The Sports Center is a 36,000-square-foot facility with everything from cardio to free weights to a Cybex circuit to keep you in top form.

During the summer months, the Corolla Light Resort hosts daily activities. Take part in such things as Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga, a Welcome Party, Tennis Tournaments, Poolside Trivia, and much more. You may just go home with some new friends! Having access to all the incredible amenities at Corolla Light makes your vacation at Beacon Villas double or maybe even triple the fun!!

This property has 4 parking spots for guests.

**Per Corolla Light, for 2026 the heated Oceanfront training pool will be open May 16th through October 12th, with the other Oceanfront pools open May 23rd through September 18th. The Oceanfront pools open for general swimming at 10:00 am, with lap swimming available from 10:00 am -11:00 am in the South Pool. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.

** Indoor Community Pools are available all year round 8am to 6pm.  Please know that indoor pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.**

**Hot Tubs are available year-round. Hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6 p.m. on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter backyard to clean the spa on scheduled cleaning days.**

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.

Pros: Big house. We had plenty of room for the 9 people in our group. Close to everything, restaurants, beach, pools, supermarket. Great amenities. Easy check-in. Nice, safe neighborhood.Cons: House is surface clean but needs a deep cleaning. Ants everywhere in the kitchen!! Cobwebs on light fixtures. The grill outside needs to be cleaned!Overall, a very good experience! Would definitely stay again if the ants issue is remedied.

A short and sweet stay

We had a short stay, and we’re comfortable while we were there. Although we didn’t do any cooking, the kitchen had more than enough supplies to support a chef. Location was convenient to getting around Corolla.

Excellent Stay!

We had a great time at shoes on the beach. It is a bit of a walk from the beach access but it was still walkable. Thankfully the Shad Street Beach Access has its own dedicated parking lot that had ample parking while we were in town. The property is also convenient to the Corolla Light amenities which we took advantage of. Its even easily walkable from the Shad street beach to the main oceanside pool and restaurant at corolla light. The property itself is well equipped with dishes and tupperwares. The hot tub and grill were both in good condition. Overall we had a great stay!

Very nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay there as a family. The rooms were spacious and well kept, family areas were very nice and large. We had an issue with our hot tub on the first night and couldn’t use it but the next day they were able to send out someone that was able to fix it and we were able to use it through the rest of our stay. They give you a map of the resort, but it’s small and somewhat hard to read. We had difficulty trying to figure out where the beaches were and some of the back pathways to take to get to it. It would be nice if each rental had explicit directions on how to get to the beach and the clubhouse as well as the soundside. Overall, our experience was very nice and we would go back there again.

Wonderful Bachelorette weekend

If you have a mature group who love a laid back time, this is the place for you. Each bedroom had a bath and there's a half bath on the middle floor. The hot tub was a plus. The town of Corolla was quaint with great restaurants. This property also allowed us to visit the pool at Corolla Light resort. This was great after visiting the beach. I would definitely rent again l.

Lovely stay - clean and spacious

This property worked really well for two families that included four kids under the age of 11. The house was spotless when we checked in and there were no signs of ants as previous reviews state. The furniture and decor were up to date and clean. This was our first stay so far up north in Corolla Light but we really enjoyed it especially all the amenities such as the community pool where there were staff to take your food and drink orders as well as the trolley. We would totally stay at this property again!

Great location

Everything was mostly great The things I would recommend is more towels. It wasn't enough for a 3 night stay. Maybe a few beach towels too, since it is bulky packing those in suitcases, and very little soap left in shower containers. The bed situation was great. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. Lovely decor. Quiet neighborhood and not far from the beach.

Very nice place, we had an enjoyable stay!

The gas grill needs to be replaced, the bottom frame is rusted and falling apart. The grill had not been properly cleaned in quite some time, so I cleaned it for you. It is a definite fire hazard and needs immediate attention.

Cute condo and easy access to everything

Shoes on the beach was a cute and clean condo. We had 7 people and plenty of room to spare. The condo is in a great location with easy access to the pools and beach. The trolly is a great feature to utilize .

Beautiful location!

The house was beautiful, clean and had every amenity you could think of. The kitchen had everything! The beds were the most comfortable. Grill was great, as well as the hot tub! Will definitely stay here again!

The house was very clean and the decoration was beautiful. Great location. It was close to the stores , restaurants , lighthouse and to the 4x4 access to the beach. Great communication with the management. They made my vacation so much easier.

First Family Vacation
