The search is over! You've just landed on your dream beach house for your next Outer Banks Vacation. Landes Dream is a one-of-a-kind oceanside home in the popular Whalehead Beach community of Corolla, with unique architectural features and plenty of character inside and out for an unforgettable vacation experience. Landes Dream is situated on a spacious corner lot packed with outdoor amenities. Natural vegetation provides privacy from the road, creating a backyard oasis that truly offers something for everyone. From basketball and volleyball to the putting green and private pool, Landes Dream is like having a mini resort all to yourself.

Inside, you'll find a reverse floorplan with a bright and airy family room, dining area and kitchen that open up to multiple sun decks for seamless indoor/outdoor living. Drink your morning coffee on the front deck with a breathtaking sunrise from over the ocean. In the evening when you get back from the beach, enjoy cocktails on the back deck in the while you watch your family play in the backyard below. Landes Dream features beach-friendly solid surface flooring throughout - you won't find any carpet here! After a long day of fun in the sun, retreat to the generously sized master suite, which includes a private bath complete with a jetted tub for soaking away the day.

Located at the corner of Dolphin Street, the beach access at the end of the road is a straight shot from the house, just two blocks away. Monteray Shopping Plaza and Timbuck II Shopping Village are less than a half a mile south, so you can easily walk or bike to dining and take-out, boutique shopping, grocery and specialty food markets, beach gear stores and rentals, plus fun activities such as go carts and mini-golf.

Please bring your own basketball and volleyball. Parking for 3-4 cars. No pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Great location, house needs work

This house needs some proper care and maintenance. Prior to and during our arrival there was heavy rain in the area. When we entered the house we found the ceiling actively leaking in one of the bedrooms onto one of the beds. It appeared that this was not the first time this leak occurred as a piece of that part of the ceiling was cracked and missing. We notified the emergency maintenance manager for Village Realty, due to the late hour, who had someone come out the next day only to tell us they needed a roofer to look at it. We also noticed that the house was not clean, especially the floors. There was a layer of sand all over the floors on the entire top level as well as pieces of broken glass. Most of the surfaces of the house seem to be in need of a deep clean, most noticeably things like hand rails and door knobs. No one from the office called us to check in about the leaking ceiling so I mentioned the lack of cleaning when I reached out to them in the morning. They offered to have someone from housekeeping come over and clean, but did not seem too concerned about any of the inconvenience we had to deal with to that point. Housekeeping was very nice and the difference was obvious when they were done cleaning. We did not allow these issues to ruin our first OBX trip though. I will say that the location was great, even with the walk to the beach being a decent hike (the beach access on Dolphin is stairs only by the way). We really enjoyed the pool as well as the hot tub. The grill they provide is charcoal so be prepared for that. Also, you will only find pots, pans and dishes in the kitchen, so bring all of your own ingredients down to the salt and pepper.

Great Family Vacation!

Close to everything. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. All of the amenities we needed. My family was very comfortable here.
