Castelli Cottage es una casa de piedra tradicional independiente de 150 años de antigüedad, completamente restaurada y bellamente renovada.
Es una casa de huéspedes muy acogedora y hospitalaria, adecuada para aquellos que prefieren vacaciones familiares o amigables.
La casa está situada en un entorno completamente verde y virgen, en las laderas del norte del monte Pantokratoras, en un pueblo muy pequeño llamado Fourni, a 10 minutos de la ciudad más cercana de Acharavi.
El sitio respira una calma atmosférica y tranquilidad. Esto se vuelve más intenso debido a la vista panorámica desde el sur hacia el norte, sobre las colinas con olivares y cipreses hasta la playa norte de Roda, Acharavi y la isla Othonoi.
La puesta de sol desde la propiedad es extraordinaria.

La encantadora casa amueblada tiene aproximadamente 186 metros cuadrados, se distribuye en 2 niveles y tiene todo lo que necesita para unas vacaciones cómodas. Puede ofrecer espacio para hasta 8 adultos y 2 niños. La planta baja tiene una sala de estar cómodamente amueblada, una cocina totalmente equipada, un gran rincón para comer y un w. C. Además, en la planta baja, pero con una entrada privada, no a través de la puerta principal, hay una especie de estudio: un amplio dormitorio con 2 camas individuales, un baño con ducha y una pequeña cocina con un comedor para dos personas.

En la primera planta hay 3 dormitorios con cama doble, 1 con 2 camas individuales, un gran salón con sofá cama y 2 baños más.
Alrededor de la casa hay muchos patios para que alguien se relaje, coma, beba, lea, juegue o simplemente vea la hermosa puesta de sol.
También puede disfrutar de la pequeña piscina, en la extensión del patio superior, cuyo sitio culmina con el encanto, la tranquilidad y la belleza del paisaje.
La piscina se comparte con la próxima casa pequeña, Castelli Olive Press, la casa auxiliar de mis abuelos, ahora disponible para alquilar también. Electrólisis de sal, sin aditivos químicos: agua clara, inodoro y segura.

Ein Traum

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub im Castelli Cottage. Es ist traumhaft dort zu sein. Das Haus, der Ausblick, der Garten, der Pool, einfach alles. Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen. John hat sich fantastisch gekümmert und war jederzeit für uns da. Ein Spaziergang ins Nachbardorf Episkepsi ist ebenfalls ein Muss. Bei Nikos, eine kleine süße Taverne gibt es bestes griechisches Essen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Perfect house for a 3-generation family reunion

As charming and comfortable as the photos suggest. Separate entrances for all but two rooms also gave each of our family subgroups extra privacy, while the large and comfortable common areas provided plenty of space to gather, play fishbowl, or read and relax together. PERFECT. And Stephen, Maggie, and John were so attentive and welcoming!

Despite some unseasonally cold and rainy weather (May 2023) we enjoyed our time in Corfu. The bad weather did not last and good weather allowed us to take several day trips around the north eastern part of the island which is the most beautiful part of the island. The cottage is tastefully decorated and all five bedrooms were equipped with heaters and air conditioning if needed. The views are spectacular and an oasis of peace (if that is what you are looking for.) Acharavi is a 20 minute journey and offers everything you might need including groceries, pharmacy, restaurants, etc. By far the greatest asset are the caretakers for the property who live near the cottage: Stephan and Maggie. They are the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met. I also love their dogs and cats. They and the stunning scenery (olive groves, orange trees, almond trees) make this property special. True, the last bit of gravel track you must follow to the cottage is "interesting" and a bit rough but if you are interested in finding tranquility in a quiet off the beaten track location, this is for you. In the end, there were 8 of us and we all agreed that we had a great time.

Wunderbare Lage und tolles Haus mit einzigartigem Blick über die Hügel im Norden

Das Haus ist wunderbar und liebevoll eingerichtet und versprüht einen eigenen, alten Charme. Es gibt ausreichend Zimmer auch für größere Gruppen und die Lage sowie der Blick vom Haus und dem Grundstück aus ist grandios. Der Pool ist klein aber gepflegt und reicht zum Abkühlen und Planschen absolut aus. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber auf der Insel auch nicht außergewöhnlich. Leider waren wir in einer Zeit da, in der es im Garten vor Wespen und Hornissen nur so gewimmelt hat. Wir konnten leider nicht draußen essen, da wir mit kleinen Kindern dort waren. Aber der Tisch im Haus ist auch groß genug gewesen für 8 Personen.

An idyllic five days

This is a truly magnificent property in a stunning setting. The welcome we received from Stephen was lovely - including from his gorgeous and gentle animals (absolutely not something to worry about if you happen not to like dogs and cats - they don’t intrude). He met us in Acharavi and led us up the hill to the cottage. When we arrived it really is like something from a film set. We cooked on the bbq, whilst drinking cocktails watching the sun set over the Mediterranean. And then we sat under the vines and enjoyed lazy dinners. The location in the hills sets off the most amazing view - which was breathtaking each and every time we looked!. The cottage itself is gorgeous. Each bedroom is beautiful and the kitchen is well stocked. Pool is great - just large enough to have a swim - with that amazing view. No faults at all. But you definitely do need a car - it’s a drive up the hill from Acharavi and then steep road to the cottage. Well worth it. I’d rush to go back.

Schönstes Haus

Das war das schönste Haus das wir je gemietet haben. Wunderschön gelegen oben auf einem Hügel in einem Olivenhain, wahnsinnig geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ganz viel Platz für uns mit unseren 6 Kindern, wunderschöner Pool und zahlreiche schöne Sitzgelegenheiten. Rundum perfekt und sehr zu empfehlen! Vielen Dank an Matina!

Our mamamia villa, we loved it

Just like a movie setting... really thoughtfully decorated, with good taste. Homely feeling to it all. We appreciated the details cleaning during the week, fresh towels, ‘greentea lemon’ scented bath shower soap even with a bodymilk ;) So nice. The view is breathtaking and corfu a lovely island to explore. We surely recommand this property, you have enough privacy and also can share good talks and wine with your friends on the porch. Kids loved the pool too. Thank you for everything. Rgds Kim

Fabulous villa with breathtaking views/sunsets

We had a wonderful time celebrating an 80th birthday in this beautiful rustic villa set in the hills above Acharavi. There was ample room for a group of 10 adults with plenty of outside seating for relaxing, eating and watching the many spectacular sunsets. Matina kindly met us in Acharavi when we first arrived to guide us to the villa, which is tucked away up a steep and windy track (you soon get accustomed to this last leg of the journey). The villa is well equipped with a lovely outside pool area - pool towels are supplied. We met the neighbours Maggie and Steve (and their 4 lovely dogs), they were very friendly and we sampled their homemade wine and figs from their garden. We went to the local supermarkets in Acharavi where there are plenty of shops and Tavernas. Our favourite beach was Almyros which is 5 mins outside the town in the direction of Kassiopi. We also went to Agios Spyridon beach where we hired 2 boats from North Corfu boat hire, this was a great day out. Matina was a great host and we hope to return one day.

Beautiful Vacation Place

We had a wonderful holiday at Castelli Cottage. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There were plenty of seating areas outside and inside for the whole family to hang out together, while the spacing of the bedrooms and the many bathrooms ensured that there was also privacy when wanted. The house is surrounded by olive trees and the view and the sunsets are amazing.  The owner, Matina, was very accommodating of our whole family as well as being flexible with check-in and check-out times which was so appreciated with a toddler. We loved staying here and had a blast!

Well maintained. Traditional, utilitarian Kitchen. Well appointed outside areas

Uniquely situated, fantastic views, very tranquil in a small community-the whole family loved it. Steve who lives locally very good on advice and help. Martina gave us a delightful welcome and reliable local recommendations. Definitely small ish car or jeep as long winding hillside track through the olive groves, but you soon master it. Would thoroughly recommend to all those who love traditional Corfu.

Amazing location and very charming house

The situation is splendid, the view of the mountains and the sea, being in the middle of the olive trees is unique. The sunsets are beautiful. The outside and the inside of the house are confortable with all you what you need to rest and eat outside, barbecue and great swimming pool. It is perfect to be shared by two families with children. Matina is so friendly, her advices are very good (beach, shopping), that you can feel living in the real Greece. One topic to be noticed : it is better to rent a jeep or a small car to reach the house. Unfortunately this summer there were a lot of wasps.

Lieu magnifique pour un séjour inoubliable

La maison, son site et sa vue correspondait en tout point à nos attentes et même plus. Une vue à couper le souffle. Une maison spacieuse très confortable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût, loin de l'animation du bord de mer tout en étant très proche. Un lieu particulièrement tranquille avec un village typique à un 1/4 h à pieds. La piscine représente un vrai plus. De nombreux emplacements extérieurs pour déjeuner, prendre l'apéritif, discuter et vivre à l'heure Grecque. En résumé un lieu magique que nous recommandons pour ceux qui recherche la beauté, le calme et l'esprit Grecque. Nous remercions la gentillesse de Matina particulièrement attentive à ce que notre séjour se passe le mieux possible. Nous reviendrons sans doute.

Wieder wunderbar!

Wir waren im letzten Jahr da und restlos begeistert. Dieses Jahr gab es extra Platz und einen Pool! Unsere Kinder waren vollkommen glücklich. Die Vermieterin ist großartig und hat einen wunderbaren Geschmack. Für uns einer der schönsten Orte überhaupt.
