La Montesina House is a typical XIX century reformed cordovan manor house. The complex comprises the owner’s private residence, located on the ground floor of the building, and three complete apartments on the first floor. The apartments are distributed around a beautiful courtyard.

La Montesina House is located in a hidden and beautiful alley in the heart of the old town, Unesco World Heritage Site. A few meters from the Plaza de la Corredera and the Plaza del Potro and two steps from the Jewish quarter, the Mosque-Cathedral and the Roman Bridge, La Montesina - Boutique House is the ideal option for those who want to appreciate the beauty, the sounds and the unmistakable scents of Cordoba.

The three accommodations are carefully restored and decorated to keep intact the ambience and elegance of a typical nineteenth century Cordovan manor house. The original hydraulic tile floors stand out with their magnificent designs and the refined carpentry of doors and windows.

All accommodations have a living room with dining area and kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. They are also fully equipped with air conditioning (hot or cold), flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi and Ethernet data connection.

Quiet and cool little apartment

This apartment is perfect for a couple who want to explore Cordoba but also have a quiet Bolton to return to right in the heart of the old town. It is only a few steps to the main square with great atmosphere and restaurants. The hosts are fabulous and we had a warm welcome and loads of good suggestions for food and activities. Highly recommend!

Fantastic!

A spacious apt with all the amenities you can imagine. Nice touches - expresso cups, various teas, orange juice & water in modern kitchen. Bathroom was modern & beautiful - lovely towels & all of this overlooking a hidden courtyard. Art books galore for reading & tv, of course! Lovely hide away down a narrow street that is totally understated.

A Gem in Cordoba

The apartment was perfect. Host Rui was friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful - centrally situated next to an historic plaza and within walking distance to everything. The apartment was quiet and comfortable. We even found English language movies on the tv. Recommended.

Beautiful accommodation

The apartment suited us well and is spacious, very comfortable, clean, quiet and very nicely decorated. We loved the location. It’s within walking distance to points of interest and the stores and shops that are part of daily life. Rui was friendly, professional and responsive. The list of suggestions for restaurant was very helpful and accurate. It was a great place to use as a base for our experience in Córdoba.

Everything Promised and More

We absolutely loved our stay at Rui's. The house was built in 1892 and shows the character of the homes in the Medina. The guest rooms are upstairs off of a central gallery that overlooks a beautiful interior ground floor courtyard with a fountain adding a peaceful trickle of water. The space was immaculate and very comfortable, and I would not have traded the location. We were in the Medina and close to lots of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Rui was super friendly and extremely helpful and speaks excellent English to make up for my Spanish.

Great Little Gem in a perfect Location!

Our apartment in Rui’s home called La Montesina was fantastic! The space was outfitted with everything we needed for our three night stay in Córdoba. The bed was comfy, the amenities were as described, and the location just off of Plaza Corredera was great for sightseeing.

Beautifully restored period property in historic & central part of Cordoba. Rui’s communication was excellent & his suggestion for parking near the river was ideal because only a 10 min walk to property.

An Absolute Gen in the Heart of Córdoba

Our apartment was located inside a large renovated 16th century house near to Plaza la Corredera. The house is just as shown in the pictures, full of charm, comfortable, clean, and very quiet despite its central location. Rui is a wonderful host, communication was great, he really went the extra mile. Córdoba is a must see destination in Spain, we loved the food, the town, the people, and the sights. October weather was perfect. Strongly recommend Rui and his home. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Beautiful apartment, nice host

Rui was a wonderful host. He shared some history of the home and provided all modern amenities. He lives at the property and recommended local restaurants etc. and even some starters of water, milk, juice and coffee.

Perfect

I highly recommend this stay. The house is completely renovated but retaining the charm of the older building. All the fixtures are modern and very clean. Rui was very kind in meeting me on arrival and stowing my bags and getting me a taxi the day I left. The location is fantastic will all the sights very close walking distance. It is also very quiet and peaceful. If I return to Cordoba I will be sure to stay here again!
