This charming traditional farmhouse offers the perfect countryside escape, complete with stunning panoramic views. Brimming with period charm and regional touches. Surrounded by over an acre of lush gardens and wooded grounds, designed to attract local wildlife. Explore scenic footpaths leading directly from the farmhouse to the picturesque shores of Coniston Lake (just 1 mile away). With easy access to the entire Lake District, this idyllic farmhouse is an ideal base for your next adventure.

Escape to our stunning country house, nestled in a serene 3-acre estate with a 1-acre wooded garden and 2-acre paddock, offering ultimate privacy and relaxation. This spacious home is perfect for family getaways or groups of friends looking to enjoy the best of the Lake District.

Outside, explore the beautiful large wooded garden or fire up the barbecue while enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Private parking is provided, and the house’s location offers easy access to a wealth of attractions in the surrounding area.

Shower Room: Includes a modern cubicle shower and toilet.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) bed with access to a shared ensuite bathroom featuring a bath and toilet.

Bedroom 2: Another comfortable double (4ft 6in) bed for restful nights.

Bedroom 3: Ideal for families, this room has 3 single (3ft) beds.

Bedroom 4: Perfect for children or friends, offering 2 single (3ft) beds.

Bathroom: Includes a bath with a shower over and a toilet.

The home is warmed by gas central heating, and the cost of gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi is included. Initial fuel for the open fires is provided, so you can enjoy a cozy evening from the moment you arrive. For families, a cot and highchair are available free of charge.

Guests will have full access to the farm house and wonderful garden during their stay.

Check-in is from 16:00 and Check-out is before 10:00.

Up to three well behaved dogs are welcome, however we kindly ask that they are kept off the beds and furnishings. Please also ensure that you clean up after your dogs if you allow them to foul outside the property. Please bring your own bedding and towels for your dogs.

The property is set up to allow remote access with easy self check-in meaning that no direct contact with anyone is needed.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

Aspectos negativos: Limpieza
The cottage was beautiful and the surrounding was amazing. We walked up to the waterfalls and the views were phenomenal. Our only downfall was the cottage was not cleaned, the porch was our first impression and it was full of spider webs. The carpet was not hoovered and human and pet hairs were on it. The pan was not great as it burnt food and the iron didn’t work. Overall it was a good cottage and pleasant location.

Crook Farm Coniston

Crook farm is a great base for a multi generational group (plus dogs) - so much to recommend it. Location - being able to walk up the Old Man from the house was amazing; a large, enclosed garden for the dogs - and younger members of the group to explore; and the house itself - comfortable, spacious and full of character. We all had a wonderful week.
