Tranquilo país escapada. Ubicado en el hermoso centro oeste de Illinois, a solo 45 minutos de la casa de Abraham Lincoln, Springfield, IL, y a 45 minutos de la casa de Mark Twain en Hannibal, MO.

Familias, cazadores, artistas, escritores o cualquier persona que quiera escapar del estrés de la vida. Despeje su mente y desconecte en un retiro cultural. Nuestro retiro está a solo minutos de algunas de las mejores cacerías de ciervos en Illinois. Un gran patio ofrece mucho espacio para que las familias disfruten del aire libre. Hay un patio con mesa y sillas en la terraza trasera, o siéntate en el porche delantero y relájate. Ubicado a ¼ de milla de la carretera. Disfruta tu privacidad.

Oportunidades fotográficas únicas de llamas en el pasto justo en frente de la casa. La vida silvestre suele pastar en el campo de heno y la madera circundante. No es raro ver venados de cola blanca, pavos, conejos, ardillas y otros animales salvajes.
Oportunidades de pesca y paseos en bote esperan, el río Illinois está a solo unos minutos. Monte en bicicleta los caminos rurales.

La casa esta totalmente amueblada. La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos de tamaño completo, utensilios, ollas y sartenes, platos, se proporcionan para su comodidad. Si desea cocinar una comida completa, tendrá todo lo que necesita para cocinar y servir, excepto la comida. Se proporcionan café, té, sal, pimienta y condimentos.

Tres habitaciones con camas queen size se completan con almohadas y ropa de cama. Dos habitaciones comparten un baño, la otra habitación tiene baño privado.

Great respite in the country!

The kids & I had a great time at the llama farm! The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed, and Kris & Terry were amazingly hospitable. It was a nice way to unplug from the usual rat race. Looking forward to staying there again!

Country Experience Right Off The Highway

We had an amazing overnight stay here! Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us! Kind and helpful hosts and a wonderful opportunity to learn about and have a hands on experience with llamas. Fun for all ages and a peaceful location. I really enjoyed my coffee on the porch in the rocking chair watching the llamas before all the kids got out of bed :)

Beautiful People and Animals

Thank you Kris for your hospitality. The house is clean and full of small details that makes staying easier. It was hot when we arrived, and the glass door had a cover on the handle to protect our hands. Thoughtful little details. Kris gave us a tour, the llamas were very gentle, and we had a great time. The animals are very well taken care of on the property. A beautiful stay overall. Kris is the best host.

Great Place!

This was the perfect spot to get a good night's sleep but it would be even better for a more extended, relaxing getaway. I've never seen a vacation rental so well stocked! Anything you could ever need is there. The llamas and the sweet poodle were just the icing on the cake.

This is halfway between my BFF in Missouri and my house in Illinois. I’m so glad we found this place and plan on meeting up way more often now. The house is very clean and comfortable. We will be back for sure!

Lots of Llama Fun

Clean, cozy, comfortable, country living. Hosts are friendly as are their dogs. The hostess even allowed us to pet a llama! This is my first choice of places to stay when I work in Jacksonville or Meredosia, IL.

Excellent, quiet and clean. Kids loved it!

We stayed one night on the way home to Iowa for the holidays. House is phenomenal, was perfect for our Military family of 6 to spread out after a long day on the road together in the car. We enjoyed sitting down together at the dinner table, to have a home-cooked meal on the road. Even though it was single digit temps in the evening, the gas fireplace in the greatroom kept us warm and toasty! The kids loved seeing the llamas in the morning when we woke up and packed the car. A truly great stopover, that the kids never stopped talking about when we were home in the Midwest with our family. Highly recommend!

My sisters and I had a great time in this country home! Great property! The house was clean, updated, cozy, and relaxing! Has all the supplies needed to cook your own meals and dine. There was nothing lacking in what we needed. We enjoyed the seclusion and quiet. We were even entertained by the llamas on the grounds and even a few deer in the early morning while drinking our coffee on the front porch. After a day of shopping and exploring we could pick up a meal at the nearby diner, go "home" turning on the gas fireplace, and then relax watching a movie or just talking. Would love to bring my husband here for a homey get away.

Wonderful stay on the Llama farm!

What a treasure! We visited central Illinois for a family reunion and found Kris and Terry’s Llama farm property to be the perfect setting for a family retreat. Kris and Terry are wonderful people and spectacular hosts. The home was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing and serving full home cooked meals, the beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms clean and well appointed with new fixtures. The living room, dining room and back enclosed porch had comfortable furniture that meet all of sitting, reading and hanging out needs. The gas fireplace and TV were a bonus. The front porch had rockers and a perfect view of the Llamas pasture which was about 25 yards from the porch. The Llamas are a curious bunch and as the days passed you began to learn to hierarchy of the herd - quite amazing animals. One of the Llama mom’s even have a baby during our stay - so cute! Kris and Terry checked in daily to ensure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have been happier with Kris and Terry’s country home. We look forward to returning as it fit our needs perfectly. If you are looking for a fantastic, quite and friendly place in the country, with good people, Kris and Terry’s Llama farm is the place to stay. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality! Llamas just add

This is a well maintained, modern property with three bedrooms (upstairs, there is a separate rental underneath the upstairs if you need more beds). They had everything you needed in the way of bathroom supplies, laundry supplies, kitchen supplies, etc. The added visit with the llamas on the property makes this just that much better. The hosts are right down the road but don't intrude at all. They are great people. We will stay here again if we can get back to Illinois.

Peaceful respite with llama love!

This is a beautiful rural property with every accommodation you can think of! Our stay was almost 2 weeks long, and we loved every minute of it! Up-to-date technology plus the peace and quiet of the countryside. Hosts plan every detail inside and out. They even included firewood for an outdoor fire, grills for cooking outdoors, yard games, and more. We would love to come back!

Relaxing and Comfortable

Such a nice, relaxing, calm and comfortable retreat for the end of the work day. Easy to relax sitting on the porch watching the llamas or hang out in the living area or enclosed porch. Nice, big dining room table for all of us to work at as a group. This will be our first choice every time we come to town as a group.

We spent the night as a half-way point for our move to Chicago. It was quite and safe place to park our moving truck with all of our belongs. And we got to spend a bit of time visiting with the llamas before sunset.
