Higher Bolshayne Farm is one of our country spots...an idyllic retreat nestled in the heart of Colyton, Devon! This charming 2-bedroom cottage boasts stunning sea views, a cosy log burner, and a spacious garden, offering the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility.

Soak up the history of this quaint village located in an AONB! This is the perfect spot to explore East Devon’s Beautiful Countryside and Beaches.

Inside, you'll find a beautifully appointed space with a well-equipped kitchen, and a cosy but spacious living room with a log burner. The downstairs bathroom features both a bath and a shower for your convenience.

The cottage offers flexible sleeping arrangements, with one large double bedroom featuring a super king bed that can be split into two singles, along with a single pull-out bed. The second bedroom has one king size bed. A travel cot and high chair is also available for our youngest guests.

Step outside to discover the large enclosed garden, complete with a patio and seating area, perfect for soaking up the sunshine. Fire up the BBQ for an outdoor cooking experience against the backdrop of scenic countryside views.

Situated in the heart of Colyford village between Sidmouth and Lyme Regis, in an AONB and within a Conservation Area, Higher Bolshayne offers cosy, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Perfect location to explore the beautiful countryside and beaches of East Devon. We have two village pubs, a fish and chip shop, post Office/village shop, a cafe and the famous Seaton tramway which runs from Colyton, through Colyford and the beautiful wetlands to Seaton.

Dogs
Two well behaved dogs are allowed but we ask that they be kept off the furniture and are not permitted upstairs. Please ensure you pick up dog mess and dispose!

The Aga
The house does have an Aga and is a feature of a traditional old english house. It can get fairly warm and cannot be switched off as it heats the hot water too. We do advise that you keep little ones away from it in the same way you would an conventual oven. It is great for slow cooking if you wanted to put something in before you head out for the day and then come home to lovely home cooked meal!

Logs
Logs are not provided but we can provide some for £10 per basket. Please request upon booking.

*No smoking anywhere in the house, please.
*No parties or events are to be hosted at the property *Please keep the noise to a minimum between 10PM and 8AM.

*Check out is 10am and late check out may result in being charged. If late check out is required this must be arranged in advance.
