Large room and very clean overall property! Staff was very friendly and was able to accommodate an early check in (without request).

Loved our stay at Hotel Hugo! The area is not too loud & just slightly away from the hustle & bustle. But just a couple minute walk& you’re at a subway, busy street to grab a cab, or hop on a main bus line. Close to a Trader Joes was a huge perk! Their rooms aren’t too spacious but they set it up so you don’t feel crowded, with hooks, decent closet, & a decent sized bathroom. I was a huge fan of the water head, & the water pressure was great! Comes with a robe & slippers to help relax after a long day of sightseeing or late night in the city. Bed was very comfortable & linens were clean & soft. They had two different types of pillows too which is great if you have a preference! Loved the kuerig coffee shelf! Came with delicious coffee compostable k cups! I would have that right away until we finally made it out to La Colombe that was super close. They do give complimentary water bottles & loved how on brand they were! Lighting in the room kinda stinks, but luckily we had a partial view & the natural light was awesome! Highly recommend getting a room on the higher levels with a view! But you can always see it from the top floor restaurant or rooftop bar!! That was the highlight of the hotel stay… the staff there & bartenders were so nice & attentive. Drinks are delicious & the few bites we had were just ok. But we came every night because it was just such an amazing view! Elevators were on the fritz a few times but otherwise, no major issues. Can’t wait to come back!
