This was the second time I have stayed here and I will definitely continue to come back. The whole place is very clean. The rooms are private and I never hear a noise. The hospitality is friendly and polite. Such lovely hosts. I am very pleased once again.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautifully decorated old farmhouse in Clinton Corners! The hosts were unbelievably kind, thoughtful, and accommodating—they were genuinely interested in hearing about our trip to the Omega Institute and kindly provided a lovely bowl of fresh fruit, coffee, and tea each morning. While we had access to all the main areas, we stayed in the upstairs room with two single beds, which was filled with gorgeous natural light throughout the day. A couple of elements are on the older side—one of the mattresses was a bit lumpy and the bathroom could use a slight update—but everything was clean and functional. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with delightful hosts, and we would definitely recommend it!

The only truth that's represented in their offering online is the beautiful location beyond that the quarters are not suitable nor appropriate to what they're claiming or particular charging to stay there. This is not being properly presented online and really should be removed from the site until such time they deliver what they claim. I'm very disappointed and unfortunately this rebuke is minor to what other occupants verbally comport.

People were nice enough, but then made lots of noise late into the night. Old house, very dirty, bathroom hadn't been cleaned in years. Room was hot, A/C was loud. Pillows were old and very lumpy.

One of the things we enjoyed on our road trip was seeing all the well kept older homes so it was fun to stay in one at this location. This home was beautifully decorated and the hosts were accommodating. We would stay again!

We needed a place to stay close to Rhinebeck. We found this place "It's a good thing" on Expedia. The hosts were gracious, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was exactly what we wanted. I will certainly consider staying again at this lovely home.

The entrance to the place is through a kitchen that is not well maintained. There is no microwave. There is only one bathroom that has to be shared with the owner and his wife. There were only 2 small beds. There was no closet or ironing facility. The only washer/dryer was in the first floor and looked most unappealing. The room that we stayed was in the second floor that can only be accessed through a narrow flight of stairs. There was only one tiny mirror in the room. The only saving grace was 2 clean towels in the bathroom. There was only one body wash available - no shampoo was available.

This rental is a room share with the owners (who are lovely people). I stayed in the attic apartment, which is very comfortable, but the ceiling is very low in some areas. The bed was very comfortable. The non-attached bathroom was small but excellent. As it's a home, there's not signage like a B&B would have. It's an excellent choice if you're looking for something off the Omega Campus.

There is a tiny little wooden bridge at the entrance of the driveway and the mailbox is on the opposite side of the road from the house. A doe was keeping watch on the mailbox when we arrived after dark. And check out the night sky!

Old and smelly

Room was gross and falling apart. Carpet was old and dirty and ripped up. Rooms smelled bad. Curtain rod falling out of wall. Rust and dust on the lamps. Stains on ceiling and walls, and nails sticking out of the wall and floor. Gross overall.

Hosts were nice, met me at the door, but the place is in the middle of nowhere, but never saw quaint table and umbrella or anything else outside. Small, uneven staircase which I tripped on; closet had nothing to hang up my clothes; no drawers or place to put clothes or luggage rack to hold suitcase; and no chair so I could sit and read or use my lap top. The "breakfast" was a cup of tea with a tea bag that I needed to microwave to heat up; the hostess said there was yogurt in frig for breakfast and I said I didn't eat yogurt, but nothing else was offered......not quaint and not a real B & B!

B & B with no B

The setting for this bed and breakfast was what you think of when you think of bed and breakfast - quaint setting - rustic accommodations in a country environment. Bring your computer or a book - no TV in the room. The only "complaint" is that breakfast was sparse. We thought she said, "yogurt, fruit, and granola" but when we looked in the around the common kitchen/frig we didn't see any granola. There were 2 containers of yogurt and a small bowl of blueberries. We weren't sure the other stuff in the frig was for us, or was the property of the other 3 couples also staying in the house. We ended up getting breakfast in town at a local diner.

Don’t stay here

My stay may 23-25 at "it's a good thing" was horrible. The reviews were a "10" I'd give it a 2 at best! The place was FILTHY. There was NO PRIVATE BATHROOM. It had to be shared. The bathroom was FILTHY including a stained tub & cat hair all over the place. NO PRIVATE BATHROOM. It had to be shared. The bathroom was FILTHY including a stained tub & cat hair all over the place. Lynn & Michael, the proprietors were lovely people. The property was tastefully decorated in Primitive decor. The "bridge" you need to drive over is very old and rickety which was unnerving. The "roll away" twin beds were sagging and very uncomfortable. It was just me and I stayed two nights and tried both giving the first bed the benefit of the doubt. The floral arrangements were dusty and the red lamp shade shredded and dusty. There were no curtains on the bedroom windows, the bathroom was tiny and tub NOT clean. There was no where to put my makeup on in my room or in the bathroom. Insufficient light source. No bannister on the steep stairwell where there are 1/2 stairs on the twists and turns due to the age of the home. On the plus side, there was coffee and yogurt with fresh fruit and oats in the morning. Clean towels. It was o.k. for the price and convenient to Omega Institute.
