"Beautiful stay at The Store. It is in the centre of Oxford and in walking distance of all local restaurants and the new theatre. We arrived slightly early, but were able to complete pre check in and our bags were kept safely. We headed up to the terrace bar while waiting for our room - beautiful views! Every member of staff was exceptional, couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! We will definitely choose The store again on our next visit. Tip: if travelling by...

"Great location, just outside the main high street and close to beautiful walking paths along the river. Also, surprisingly quiet. The only downside was the quality and price of the food. However, great place for a drink on the patio and lots of food options available within walking distance. Felt a bit sorry for the staff, they seemed overwhelmed and as a result, not very happy. Overall, would return if visiting Oxford again."

"A rather shabby hotel which save for the restaurant is served by obviously demotivated and poorly trained staff . The attention to detail was quite shocking . The lift was out of order to the the 4th floor and being " urgently " repaired - over a 24 hour period there was no sign of any repair activity , the bar crowded and sporadically staffed. The doormen shuffling about with their shirt tails hanging out and filthy chandeliers in reception. This hotel is an overpriced and dreary place ."

"I think this is one of the few times I can say that the photos on a website are 100% accurate. Choosing this hotel was a brilliant decision. The staff is both very friendly and professional. At this point, I can’t help but highlight the bartender, Ionut. Extremely kind and pleasant. The hotel’s modern design, the perfect location for exploring the city, and at the same time its setting like an oasis of nature—for us, this sealed the deal for choosing this hotel, whenever we’re back in Oxford....

"The air-conditioning was essential and wonderful since the temperatures were a historic high when we were there. It would have been nice to have some hand lotion. None in the amenities."
